Absolutely fascinating Callum, delighted for you that you could see the cradle of civilisation. Looking forward to more gems, take care & keep up your marvellous travels. Wonderful to have a young Scot representing all Scots with such respect & dignity.

This is a brilliant video. Iraq has so much history. I was in Basra with the army but speaking to the locals the said Iraq used to be booming with night life. People would travel from all over. Incredible seeing how history is maintained

So few westerners get to see this - thank you so much for documenting your adventures! I hope in 20-30 years it'll be safe for an American woman to go out there. In the meantime I'll live vicariously through you!

amazing, just free floating objects, no real protection.. 2600 years. I suppose it is no crazier than stonehenge or the pyramids.. but babylon did things the entire world still uses. It is funny .. I am from 100% scots irish, but as american.. I would not be treated as nicely as you are. Glad you get access to share.

Being that old the swastika should be a peace symbol no? Feel free to correct me.

I wouldn’t think so since it’s surrounded by German names which are dated from around 1937 / 1942 .. during ww2 time?
