SubhanAllah, the days that I am thinking about marriage are my worse days.Shaytan does indeed use it as a way to distract us and also do indecent things. I know that marriage in Islam is recommended and important but we should not forget our main purpose. Marriage might not even be written for us, as Allah can take our life anytime. So I ask Allah to make us single people firm in fullfilling our purpose as slaves and May he grant us a beautiful patience. Allahuma Ameen.

It's not easy especially when the way for most people to feel and be independent is marriage, especially for us hailing from Asia, we are forced to stay dependent on families and parents, thereby lacking the freedom to make our own choices. At least through marriage, we seek to own freedom to make our choices to some extent, especially in some families where some family members maybe a cause for trauma for children. The only solution to that is to get away. For many of us, marriage seems like the only way out. Of course, there will be difficulties in every relationship, but it's a choice we can make depending on the type of person we choose for ourself to spend our life with.

Looking back at this comment I got married 2.5 years ago and now I’m a single mom to a 1 year old. Allah tested me before marriage, during marriage. We never know how our life will be but this dunya is about test. We have to remain patient and work on our character because that’s the only thing we have control over is ourselves. This test has been hard for me and sometimes I feel broken and so hurt from another human being. But most important thing is too keep your Iman and always turn back to Allah. May Allah keep us firm on his deen and give us a good ending. And these 2.5 years despite being difficult ofcourse there were many blessings and beautiful moments. With hardship is ease. @@Mo-gt8fh Ameen Jazakhallahu Khairun. Allhamdullilah we’re Muslim that all that matters and constantly turning back to Allah. When I feel really depressed I watch videos on KZbin about patience, tawakul, qadr and it’s really uplifting for me. Read these two ahadith. Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: Certain people of the Ansar asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he gave them; then they again asked him and he gave them until all what he possessed was exhausted. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whatever wealth I have, I will not withhold from you. Whosoever would be chaste and modest; Allah will keep him chaste and modest and whosoever would seek self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient; and whosoever would be patient, Allah will give him patience, and no one is granted a gift better and more comprehensive than patience". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. “Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affair is good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him he is grateful and that is good for him. If something of harm befalls him he is patient and that is good for him” [Saheeh Muslim]

It's more difficult for a divorced woman with kids to find a husband especially when the majority of men want to cheat, have a gf and turn to haram. It's difficult when you meet someone and tell them you are not into haram and they say that you aren't open minded and too religious or a man that says 'oh, you wear hijab, sorry I want a woman who doesn't cover' the duniya is getting more difficult every day.

I am 46. I have tried to get married since i was 18 because i didnt want to fornicate. I know many muslims older than me and they are still not married and i know people who fornicate during their youth and they easily find a wife. I think at the end of day we should realize that this life has absolutely no sense no justice and can be cruel. Death is the only way out.

Abdullah Ibn Abd'Al Latiff: The Arabs themselves don't understand the Quran even when it's in Arabic because there's a disconnect between Quranic Arabic and Modern (Colloquial) Arabic. Therefore, you could say that Arabs themselves are tourists within their own religion especially since Shariah is not implemented correctly anywhere in the world. Maybe you too should wake up and teach the Arabs not to be racist than slandering me with such comments as tourist in the religion. I know what the Quran says - which is more than can be said for a lot of people!
