SubhanaAllah I had the same feelings as the student who asked the questions, Praise be to Allah that I'm on my feet now, No matter how depressed you are, Fear Allah and have faith in him, the harder the struggle the better the reward from Allah. Even if you fail in studies have fear in Allah for he might give you a greater reward than that you wanted.
