Carrot - 1 pc.
Dry red wine

Bacon - 3/4 lb.
Mushrooms - 1 1/2 lb.
Onion - 1 pc.

Small onions - 100 gr.
Garlic - 6 pcs.
Butter - 3 tbsp.
Flour - 2 tbsp.
Water - 3 cups
Dry red wine - 2 cups
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp.
Salt - 3/4 tsp.
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
Thyme - 1 tsp.
Bay leaves - 3 pcs.

Sí, es delicioso. Es un BOEUF BOURGIGNON, verdad?? Me encanta, aunque prefiero la DAUBE que es muy parecida pero sin vino rojo, con apenas un toque de Armagnac o vino blanco.

@@corneliusdejong6490 Yeah, there's many different cuts of beef from a cow and how well this turns out depends on exactly which part of the animal you use. Recently I found out that "Beef and Broccoli" is usually made with Flank Steak (not the cheapest cut of beef!). I did not know that.

Terrific! Question: has anyone used potatoes instead of carrots in the final assemblage? If possible I would like to use diced carrot for the sweetness and possibly parsnip also - But for all I know I'd be ruining the dish.

Use real butter, high heat, enter the Meat, let it Just not burn outside and then through water in to let it slowly heat on the smallest flame. A slightly bit outside and after a few hours soft inside. It Just stays together.
