I think “Ralphie” said all the other kids were 9-12 years old, and this little guy was maybe only 4 years old. “Ralphie“ said the little brother was always always so good-natured, and had the best laugh. Funny how a happy kid can make a good whiner. “Mommy’s little piggie!” The mom is fantastic. I loved when she gave him a glass of milk in the cabinet.

Now that my sons are 23. I look at this movie and I think that he had every right to be whiny since his mom tried to pussified him... (Plus as we know kids know when to turn on the waterworks. 😉) This is one of my favorite Christmas movies ever!!! . It has so many quotes...... I always loved when the dad pronounce the word Fragile as... "FRAGEELEE" 😆 Merry Christmas All!!! ✌🏻🎚️❤️

Funny how Randy just zones out, like he's in Never-Neverland while the mom tosses him about trying to squeeze him into that snowsuit, but then he starts whining as soon as he realizes that he can't put his arms down just when she's finished.

As if this wasn't enough, he had to get all of that crap off when he got to school, put it all back on when he went outside for recess, get it off when coming back inside from recess, and then back on again when going home from school. If Randy's teacher had a conference with Mr. and Mrs. Parker, I hope they had one hell of an explanation as to why they have to be so excessive about Randy's coverage. LOL.

I was always made to wear 100 layers in the winter too, and I thought it was more than I needed--just as long as I had a hat, gloves, and coat, I thought that was enough. But no, I had to wear a sweater or sweatshirt, snow boots, a scarf and two pairs of socks. To this day I joke about this scene when I'm getting dressed up to go outside in the winter.

I remember when I was still in elementary in the late 90's - early 2000's, students were still mandated to wear snowsuits and snowboots to school during winters. Mostly to help the custodian staffs with the excessive mopping of the flooded halls. Students would have to put them on and take them off every damn recess break. It ended up wasting a good 5-7 mins of class time each time. Nowadays I see elementary school kids just wear hoodies, jeans, and sneakers in the middle of winter.
