The luxury saw is 3x faster. It's really the first thing you should buy when you start a game. All the quests are repeatable after a few days so the treasure quest will be available again soon. The chickens are worthless, you should kill them to make room for more pigs because even 2 females will make 3 piglets at a time any of which can be another female. You'll be overrun with pigs in no time and you can get 20+ pork per pig after 7 days. You'll need a shit ton of room and a shit ton of wheat. Also don't bother with the stunner, you can just take the pigs outback and shoot them and save the $700

i think the idea of the egg trays is that you open them from the outside. that way when you pick up the eggs the chickens dont realise. or atleast you are outside if the chickens get angry. just a theory tho since i havent played the game. XD
