100% should be banned. So let's get this straight, 5 seconds for a ban worthy punt vs 1.5seconds for wall contact during a crash which already naturally penalizes someone at least 5 seconds. PD FIX YOUR PENALTY SYSTEM

@@Basilisco55 Is totaly diferent, GT is more stiff, Forza cars if you dont tune the suspension they wiggle around and the chasi shakes and has no stability in older cars like they should unless u put a cage or larger tires and rims. GT is some stiff cars like they are all glued to the road. In forza if you take a hard drift turn in a non racing car depending on the car setup it flips and rolls in the direction of the speed in a nice accident, that is realistic. I dont know if u can do that in GT.

I honestly hate the fact that you get guys doing that, ive got a wooden build rig with broken chair to try and build something for myself as I do racing for the love of it and take it serious, I have some streeams of my own with good races and then some where you get taken out. I'm coming from iRacing, where the mentality is pretty respectfull, because the report system is really efficient. It happens, of course, some reckless behaviors, but if I have to give a purcentage in my experience of all those bad behaviors, I wouldn't say more than 5-15%. Strange or not, but more close to 15% in GT3 class, and more close to 5% in prototype and multiclass. I took a PS5 recently, just to chill on GT7, when I need some rest of hard simulation. Can you let me know, in your experience, the purcentage you will give for dirty drivers in high safety rating ? Because for my couple first races, in GR4 class, B to E safety rank, daaaaamn, it hurts my love for racing 😁 I would personnaly give 50-70% of dirty drivers.

People like that should be permanently banned from sport mode. And in my opinion, the collision penalty in gt7 is really not strict enough. 4 or 5 seconds is not enough, the penalty should be more like 8 to 9 seconds.

I get so fed up with crap drivers. I'm still learning and am currently a CS driver but I usually perform very well against the AI/Sophy and most times in the top 3 but when I get to Sport and qualify in the top 3, just about every time I get punted from behind. If these guys can't win by means other than dirty ones, yes they should receive harsher penalties.

If that was real racing, they would have their licence revoked. The least PD could do for drivers like this is ban them for a week, and when they come back they are on a month long probation. A repeat offence in that period should then get a month ban.

In GT Sport, I had one guy punt me three times in one race. I then sacrificed my race to be a sacrificial lamb. I punted him gently once. He blew his lid and took me out 20 times. His sportsmanship rating dropped to E, and so, therefore, so did his driver rating. Never saw the guy in GT Sport again. :) Play it smart out there, fellas.

More reasons why there should be a race moderator in each online session, to act as race marshal so that people can be issued the correct penalties and perhaps even kicked from races when it's clear they have malicious intent. Going out of your way to ruin the fun of others is just selfish and a pointless exercise because it surely can't make their day any better, especially when it ends like that 😂
