13:49 IIRC, Galcom comes after year 20 and must have 5-ish non-genocidal nations capable of diplomacy that have all established communications. So even if you know 10, it's pointless if they don't know each other too.

Ironically, the xenophobic fallen empire you killed first had a titan as you can see at 9:12 for example. Also as far as my memory serves me they are the most likely to have one anyways since they are the fallen empire with the most Military power.

Day 2 of asking Ep3o to play Space KFC empire: Origin: Syncretic Evolution (Necrophage also works, if you want to go that route) Homeworld: Continental Government: Megacorp Civics: Catalytic Recyclers/Space Ranchers, add Franchising once you research 3rd civic Ethics: Authoritarian/Materialist/Xenophile Core traditions: Mercantile/Domestication Primary species: Thrifty/Intelligent/Rapid Breeders/Unruly/Repugnant Serviles: Avian (obviously)/Thrifty/Incubators/Sedentary/Unruly if going Necrophage, traits are slightly different Primary: Thrifty/Intelligent/Natural Sociologists/Unruly/Fleeting Pre-patent: Thrifty/Incubators/Strong/Sedentary/Unruly Farm them space chickens and sell the extras as livestock :3 Of course, fast food chains on every planet in neighboring empires are a must.

Starwars alternate history idea; during the clone wars something happens that leaks the plans for order 66 weeks before, while anakin is in frontline fighting droids, and sabotage on corusant that disables the Chancellor Palpatins comunication for hours. which lets an army of "rebel clones" overhthrow not just the republic, senate and Chancellor, but distrust in the jedi when during the final battle palpatines Sith abilities are confused as a hidden Jedi covert agent by the Clone rebels, who take control over Kamino and their own creation process and begin making new force sensitive clones.

I have been playing Stellaris for years now, I have over 4000 hours logged. I keep seeing people "tech rush" into endgame with no explanation as to how after 3.1. Even if you follow the optimal tech path guide in vanilla, the game prevents you from researching certain techs before 100 years have passed or before certain event unlocks happen. For instance, the game now hard-locks megastructure engineering to after 75 years have passed. SO HOW IS ANYONE UNLOCKING IT SOONER?? PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!
@Ep3o12 күн бұрын
Its not impossible, its just way less likely before certain years! But if you’ve got insane tech you can keep re rolling and eventually you’ll get it
@blankspace17812 күн бұрын
@@Ep3o Do you know if one of the DLCs or mods adds another weight-value to tech that acts as a hidden scaler? Because I have tested this at length with vanilla + DLC (one at a time to slowly add megastructures) + Giga Mod, and used a variety of controlled starts while following the optimal tech path guide looking for the earliest possible megastructure point post 3.1. After hundreds of hours of testing, I have yet to find a way to research and build any vanilla megastructure prior to year 100. If you include Giga Mod, the earliest I've found you can construct a starter research megastructure is 75 years into the game. I'm curious as to why my experience is so different from everyone else's.
@Ep3o12 күн бұрын
@ hmmmmm weird I don’t think so. Is it linked to end game year?
@blankspace17812 күн бұрын
@ I hadn't thought of that until you mentioned it, and after delving into the game files doing a variable check, YES, yes it is!! The weight-value of certain high level techs is directly tied to the end-game start year with an inverse-scaler applied using the tech-cost modifier. This means that if you start a shorter game with a higher tech-cost modifier, higher level techs will appear more often, but cost significantly more to research. If you start a longer game with a low tech cost modifier, you likely won't see them for a couple hundred years. This perfectly explains everything I have experienced. It also explains why people who play short games on max difficulty have much higher odds of rolling for valuable tech options.

The more citadels you have, the higher weight you have to roll Mega Engineering. You could also try the new Arc Welders origin and get 5% of Mega Engineering research done at the end of its chain.
