Think of the echelon compact as the glock 19 and the echelon fullsize as a glock 17 as well the specs are damn near the same except the echelons are thinner by a smidge

Ported Canik Rival S with Holosun Comp and Surefire x300 is the way to go. Heavy yes, but fixing posture and wearing a looser bottom clothing with a more athletic fit up top is clutch! Great review on the Springfield! 9.6/10 is a phenomenal rating. It'll probably be reduced to a 9 out of 10 due to added weight if you got the Icarus grip, but that's the build I would have.

I'm considering the sharps bros aluminum grip for mine, it just looks so freaking good man but $300 for a grip module is pricy

Haha that’s my competition gun, but you crazy for ccw that! 😅

@popupheadlights icarus is the same price if not more only difference is icarus is making model specific grips not a 2 in 1 special like sharps did granted yes the icarus compact grip will more than likely accept the fullsize slide

Does that have the 4.0c threaded barrel or the 4.5?

i think comps are gimmiks on hand guns, because the price for comps is crazy and it really dont do much. i think its the weight at the end of a gun. then you have the reliability issues that ALWAYS happen. shadow systems P the ram jet the carry comp from m&p. they all have the issues. so you have to spend more money to get them to work right. ram jet you spend 400$ then you have to spend another 100$ on springs to get it to just run. you turned a 500$ into a 1k? naw im good. Springfield Echelon has problems maybe it will be trust worthy in a couple of years.

Interesting. I haven't had any issues with my Echelon at all. Even with the comp on it. And I carry it everyday as my duty gun.

Only problem I've seen was improperly installed mag extensions from factory, and has been corrected already, as far as shooting goes gun is great and has been reliable, I agree with you on comps, I bought a compact 4.0c for that g19 size a comp on the end would ruin that. On a competition pistol sure yeah why not but on a carry gun 9mm compacts shoot more then flat enough

Maybe take all that shit off it and than try to edc, you don’t need a comp for self defense, same with a flash light, i know that’s opinionated though,
@lucasschmitz45882 күн бұрын
The comp ok ya i can see that argument but the light is 100% a rather have and not need then need and not have as in self defense night shootings lights are beneficial home defense also beneficial and many people can't quite justify buying multiple guns as either their state laws make it rather hard and annoying or they can't financially justify it and they've got one gun and taking the light on and off is rather useless and annoying
