If I know something helpful I share it. I'm not trying to bash people I try to be helpful. Simple tips 3 casts per spot and when doing 3 casts per spot use fast medium and slow retrieves. That way you see what retrieve fish will respond best to. Doing this you covor more water. If I see active fish in an area I'll stay there for like 10 to 15 minutes if no luck I move.

Also heres a tip when catching catfish that many probably dont know : when you get "finned" by a cat fish it releases a mild poison hurts like hell and will bleed some so im guessing has a mild anticoagulent to it as well...BUT if you take the catfish that stuck you , and it has to be THAT fish , rub the wound on that fishes belly itll will stop hurting n bleeding will also stop....had an old man tell me that one and its always worked.

CAPTAINPRICE79 Visit Florida, snakes are everywhere. Black racers are the most common, like squirrels in a public park.
@jayzplayz66595 жыл бұрын
They’re very common here in East, TN....especially this past fall. I had to get a huge black snake out of my sliding glass door. We have a very popular fishing location where you’re just as likely to catch a snake as a fish and it’s near the trout hatchery lol

Just came across your channel and am now a sub. I’ve been fishing since I could walk and love fishing, mostly fresh water because that’s mainly what’s around where I live but love any fishing. I don’t subscribe to fishing channels but something about you and your enthusiasm, to use an obvious pun you hooked me, lol! Seems like you just enjoy fishing and are passionate and fish different methods. Like I said I just subscribed so I’ll learn more about you and your channel as I watch. I don’t know if you can see my KZbin picture but obviously I love fishing, that fish pictured is a 42inch long 41 pound striped bass my second biggest from shore and using a whole live herring I also caught myself. I live near the Hudson River and once a year they migrate up river to spawn along with the herring before they come the shad come up to spawn but I don’t fish them. Their just not my thing. But I noticed you like fishing for big cat fish, every year in July there’s always a big catfish derby that I love to do anytime I can. Two years ago I was a quarter of an inch From winning first place in the adult class. They go by length because in the past people have been caught cheating by stuffing rocks or whatever and wherever they could hide things within that fish. It sucks but usually always a couple bad apples that ruin things for everyone. Anyway my biggest channel cat was 19 + pounds and wasn’t too long just fat. I almost always weigh fish not measure them. And in the River many species exist and they get huge. I know there are state records of different species in there. I’ve personally seen a 20+ lb bullhead caught on a bluegill head. In myself have caught many exceeding 10 lbs. but rarely fish the river only during striper season when we have the opportunity to catch huge ocean fish in our backyard for a month and a half. Otherwise I fish from my rowboat or walk the shoreline of the Shokan resavoir in upstate, ny . This is nyc main water supply although most have no clue where their water comes from. I have been fishing this resavoir since I could walk and love it for it’s variety of small and largemouth bass both can be caught in record size but mainly i fish for the huge brown and rainbow trout and the occasional walleye. The resavoir used to be full of huge monsters that would spawn every year and all you’d see was the gleam of their red eyes in the water as they waited by the spillway divider between the upper and lower basins of this resavoir. If your interested in checking it out please do, it’s an incredibly unique system that was built in the 1800’s and is still in operation today. Still considered a monumental feat of engineering today. There’s a video about it I believe called Deep water, the making of the nyc resavoir system. Which is now in need of great repair but they’ve been discussing on just how to do it for several years. There’s an aqueduct that carries water from upstate to the city 3 hours away and the only thing keeping this tunnel functioning is the water pressure which leaks several million gallons of water throughout different spots along the way. But your talking about a pipe you can drive a dump truck through. If you ever have the chance to visit the area or want to come fish it please let me know and you’ll have the use of my rowboat and a person that can tell you almost everything you need to know to catch whatever it is you want. I hope someday to have my own KZbin channel, not sure what the content would be because I have many interests and hobbies but fishing will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for sharing your adventures and taking the time to make this channel happen. I’ll definitely be checking out more videos and I’ll support it as best I can. I always hit the like button for channels I subscribe to and that deserve it. Thanks again and take care

@mikeceebo86114 жыл бұрын
Any particular reason why that is considered bad practice? Just curious
@tajmartinez37444 жыл бұрын
Clicker is used as a bait feed method. Leaves reel in free spool enough pressure wind tide swell won't pull line. Fish bites or runs you hear the reel spooling put. Beginning fishermen cast with it on because they can't cast a conventional reel without back lash "birds nesting." Even worse fisherman cast reel and fight the fish with the clicker on. This dude knows that. He did for the comedy. Or for you to ask that question. 🤙

No just put the whole block of uncooked ramen in the trap and throw the trap in and wait for a while then check it.

Just a couple of tips....bait traps need to be full submerged to work, like 2 or 3 ft of water....Hooking and pulling fish against the current into shallow water gives them the advantage and flopping around against the rocks injures them--- go down current to deeper water to land your fish.... If you go the opposite bank, cast your bait up-current and let it float down, it results in a more natural presentation - fish face up-stream and grab food that drifts by... But having fun is the most important
