A simple reason why Gamefreak just can't be bothered to re-release the 1st 3 generations on the e-shop? PEGI. In Europe when the games came out on the 3DS E-Shop the games were all rated as 12 because of the game corner. New rules in PEGI now state that any game with references to gambling are instant 18s. Gamefreak would have to edit the 1st 3 generations as well as Diamond and Pearl if they ever want to re-release those games in Europe and keep their child friendly ratings. Considering they can't even release a modern game without issue it's doubtful they can be bothered enough to make the necessary edits. So blame PEGI.

Except they got rid of the game corner in gen 4 remakes already. It's a bit harder for gens 1 and 2, but they've done it before. They're just lazy.

@@pikacrafter2903 And a way to get around that would be remakes. Yeah it wont be like the original games, but it would allow you to get the same pokemon (as long as they don't mess with the shiny rates/locking them) without having to have a way to port them over. If the issue is the gambling stuff, you can simply make a re-make without that portion of the games. they've done it in the past but they simply wont do that because they're lazy. Additionally, the games that have been coming out have been disappointments barring Legends Arceus. I'm not sure what goes on in development, but they sure have been dropping the ball, especially when it comes to bringing your past game pokemon to the current games.

Gen 2 ACE has become much easier with Mail Writer ACE that can be performed on Crystal and on Gold/Silver. Could do an update video on it. It's also easier than 8F, and has become my preferred method of making my Gen 1 Pokémon shiny after trading them to Gen 2.

the only glitches ive been successful with are missingno, mew, and the coin case, ive tried to do the void but all the videos i find are so complicated and i dont plan on spending hours in the void lol especially since there is so much i can mess up, but i might try it again, idk if theres an easier way but i hope so, ive also never attemped the pomeg gitch but im considering it

The video from CWillyHD (Catching Darkrai, Shaymin and INFINITE Arceus) seems kinda simple to me... idk though, I still haven't tried it yet... If you're talking about ACE (Arbitrary Code Execution), though, then it's gonna be really hard to find an easy video to unserstand easily... you can try videos that use RNG Manipulation to get some rare/shiny pokémon, including Legendaries and Manaphy/Phione (for example, there is the channel LazyHunter that made videos about them)
