A lot of people struggle with the fishing in Stardew Valley, so I decided to show everyone that it's not as hard as you think, by catching the hardest fish in Stardew, The Legend, from a fresh file!

I know! I caught the Legend and Mutant Carp on my first try, no buffs or tackle. Crimsonfish on my second try with the trapper. The octopus? Trapper and +3 fishing from food. Still can’t catch it!!!

hardest one for me was the scorpion carp. a lot of people say they struggle with the ice pip but every playthrough i've caught it no problem. just goes to show how different everyone's stardew fishing journey is :)

I can’t be the only person that actually likes fishing Especially on early game rainy days when you don’t have much to do, it’s good for passing time and gets you some extra gold which is also helpful. It’s really relaxing and on lucky days the treasure can be actually kinda good. In one farm I managed to get an iridium band late summer year 1 and it helped me progress through the game quicker, especially since I was still a newbie back then and had no idea what to do.

well Legend is harder because of the hooking chance imo since you hook glacier 1/3rd of the time and legend 1/10th of the time

Fish at the rock on the west side of the beach dock, 100% chance of getting a silver quality fish or higher (usually higher)

Take a shot each time he says “throw”. If he means throw as in “mess up” = shot of vodka. If he means throw as in “cast the fishing rod” = shot of tequila If he means throw as in “toss into the chest” = shot of whiskey If he means throw as in “vomit” then it’s a shot of rum. If he means throw as in “release the fish” then it’s a shot of…..erm…..gin.

Of the Legendary Fish (not counting those in Qi's Quest), I found Legend and Glacierfish about equal levels of difficulty (I've rage quit over both) and then Crimsonfish and Angler are pretty easy.
