Just a little side note. Each session was about 4 hours long, so only a total of around 12 hours bank time for these quality fish. Sometimes choosing to go for just a few hours first or last light can be more productive than an entire day on the bank. Hope you guys enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed the fishing!

Find them Bait them Catch them Brilliant watercraft and I do like the stealth approach with the silent alarm 😂 , keep pre baiting over a few weeks whilst it’s still warm ish and you get more , there’s no angling pressure there either 👍 Got to do a few more sessions on there , great video !!! good luck and tight lines,

Pukka video mate I've got a forgotten lake I fish only fished it twice and had 1 carp of 5lb but learn a few forgotten tips off you 😀, I'd keep on the lake another couple of weeks in my opinion the weather isn't changing infact it's getting better for carp fishing, but fully recommend fishing a mid spring session there the carp will be at there biggest then 😀 👍 🎣🎣🎣, keep the vids coming mate loving the channel 👍 😀

So nice to see a fishing area that hasn’t got a wooden boarding area as big as a car park and hasn’t had the trees cut back so that the armchair carp ‘ specialist’ can’t show off how much gear they have. Breath of fresh air.

Wheelbarrow to the peg, set up the bivvy, cast out 3 rods and settle down for a kip. Hopefully catch one of the huge fish that have been dumped there. Not for me either, like a bit of jungle warfare. But each to their own 👍

Thank you Chris for sharing this flipping awsome awsome video diary of the forgotton pond, I have watched and loved them all both the Pike & the Carp. I don't know why but since you started your mini campaign on this out of the way place I have imagined how it used to look before it became so over grown, i think that it is your great story telling that made me feel like i was there myself. I hope that you can keep this place to yourself and maybe clear some weed to make it more fishable. So it's a big YES from me to fish the place as much as you would like as it's not every day that any of us get to fish somewhere as mystical as that. All the best.

Like those streams you're really lucky to be able to fish such a well stocked water. Remember that all these venues, regardless of what they look like, have owners and its vital that you get their permission before you fish them. I say this because I regularly suffer from people poaching on my waters.

As always Chris, fantastic video! You crack me up because I do the exact same thing... there's always... ALWAYS something I forget!! Or should've brought... this summer we went "dipping" for sockeye salmon and I forgot my 19YO while he was changing into his waders!! We'd stopped at a bunch of privys about a mile from the spot.... in my defense I had 2 folks new to dipping and 4 other kids with me... nevertheless... fortunately he laughed about his harried father! Here in Alaska, residents can use a 5ft wide gill net solidly mounted to catch 25 +10 for each member of the household, 95 fish for mine, annually. Since the rivers I dip get a couple million 2-9 lb sockeyes every summer spawning up them, it's pretty fun! Anyway... tight lines and sunny days!
