We just got back from four days on Douglas Lake. It rained three inches the day we got there and pretty much rained every time I walked outside for the rest of the trip. It was nice to see someone catch a fish, Nick! Thanks for the video.

Hey nick I just found your channel, love your content! If you’re ever wanting to catch a massive flathead look for a massive log jam in the river and cast a live bait right next to it. The flatheads love to hide in the sticks. Grew up fishing for them in Kansas and this worked every time! Goodluck

I went fishing this evening. Missed a bite, caught a smallmouth, and the weather trumpeted “let there be lightning” - so I went home. After I got stuck in the monsoon while walking back up to my truck…. Still better than being at work though. Wetter too….

Idk illinois regulations. But just be careful catching bluegill in the cast net and keeping them. Usually can't keep them if caught in a cast net. Just don't want you to get in trouble.
@theKrausman4 ай бұрын
Illinois is extremely lax on their nature preservation. To busy busting people on misuse of pronouns.

Yeah...well, you know how "Big Brother" is... always got his "Foot Soldiers" out there, enforcing the Rules of "The Man!" I understand Law and Order. I mean, yeah, I get it. Certain Rules are necessary-But when it gets down to taking advantage of honest people over piddly stuff like that, Man-That's crossing the line!
