This series has inspired me so much with your story of addiction, I decided on day 5 of your trip that I was going to quit nicotine and valued now I am 38 days strong off of nicotine and I want to thank you for that. Taking it one day at a time that’s all we can do. Keep it goin, keep pushing.
@racerx3669 Жыл бұрын
Just constantly remind yourself you don’t actually want it. Sounds like you made it through the worst. I was drinking a lot of 100% juice when I quit. It was thought to maybe help your body adjust to regulating your blood sugar. Supposedly the nicotine will regulate it if you use it. The night I quit I decided when I went to bed I was done. I woke up and still agreed. But out of habit I lit a ciggy when I got into my truck for work. I flicked it out the window, and never smoked again. Gave my pack away. I still went on smoke breaks with the smokers. I just didn’t smoke ciggies. It’s easy now. I dreamt I was sneaking drags. I dreamt I was still smoking.

This was a really great day. A rural skatepark, filmed by a mom, the madhouse of Nashville, a path through the forest, another skatepark, filming another skater, and hyped supporters all along the way. Surreal. You'll get some hills before Knoxville for sure. The hilly area you went through before Nashville is the western rim of a basin. Around Carthage / Gordonsville, you'll be at the eastern edge of that basin and climbing back out. It will be hilly.
