Applicable to FJ Cruisers with the same engine I assume?

The engine would be similar, but the engine for those would be the same as a 2nd gen Tacoma

Definitely refer to a second gen Tacoma video, it would be a splitting image pretty much. It's a fairly simple job. The driver side is a little tricky due to limited space. Don't be afraid to get vacuum lines and the intake stiffener bracket out of the way.

never, never start threading your new spark plugs with a power tool or wrench, the potential for cross threading is too high, attach a length of fuel hose to top of plug and thread by hand to ensure not cross threaded. the grip of fuel hose is light and will prevent threading incorrectly

Great point! The part where I started the spark plugs by hand was cut out but I use the spark plug socket to start them before I ran them in with the electric ratchet.

If you are able to strip a spark plug thread, maybe you should work on engines. Been doing it this way for 15yrs with no issues. But to each their own..🙃
