@@xwarpedkarmax the square tiles that are against the back wall. You are wanting just to raise that back edge a little so if the water drips it rolls to the front of the cabinet. Here’s my tip. I bought rubber thing that lies on top of the gap between my stove and counter. I got it at Walmart in the kitchen section. Nothing falls down there. Thank you for adding the caulking to the under the sink project!!! So many “how to” videos I see are mostly just for the aesthetic of the house and not for protection/function! We rent and I did this under my sink because we had water issues. Our cabinets are dark brown so it always felt like this dark stinky cave when I opened it so I got some really good Kilts primer and just painted it white inside the sink cabinet. Now I can see and know if someone is dirty or leaking!!! 😁

I love what you said about using all the space in the dishwasher. Every so often I use the dishwasher for my dish rack, vases, garden shoes, vent covers, bathroom decor, cleaning brushes, etc. I add a few sprays of Clorox bleach and run it on increased heat to kill the bacteria. Each time I use the dishwasher I also add my cleaning dish, brush, and container that they're held in. I have put plant pots in the dishwasher, hair brushes, shaver holders, straws....always pleased. Over the years I have also discovered new places to clean - your showerhead, inside your taps, your kitchen/bathroom sink plugs, the backside of your fridge, stove, etc., and the inside of your dishwasher!!!!

I got so sick of leaking bags or kids missing the bag and finding rotten apple cores or banana peels under the bag, that I started keeping a layer of Scoop Away kitty litter at the bottom of the can. It smells like fresh laundry and absorbs any nasty juices that can just be scooped out. Also, those food particles get mummified in it. Makes for a much easier clean up at the bottom of the can.

I have to say that the BEST purchase for around my stove has been Gap Covers!!! No more messes running down the sides of the stove or counters…. And if they get dirty, toss em in the dishwasher (mine are silicone) they have to be one of my absolute favorites. Barely anything makes it under and around my stove anymore. 😍😍😍

I’ve got the steamer thanks to you Katherine!!🤗🥰😃Love these tips they are very motivating which is my problem!lol. LOVE that you tell us about “good” products from the Dollar Tree that really work!! LOVE the Murphy soap too! I love to use what some ppl call “Shamies”. They are orange & sometimes yellow I guess! They really-really soak up water & moisture really fast!! A dear friend of mine that I met in Miami when I first moved there showed me how to tie a “Shamie” around a stick or around a broom if your mop happens to break & a duster for high & low places & a mop is born!!😂😂😂 The “shamie” not spelled correctly, picks up dirt & tiny debris plus cleans or dries surfaces so very well! A towel can be used the same way! Thank you Katherine! Now that I’ve moved back to NC & I’m only an hr & 1/2 from Matthews, where are the good Dollar Tree Stores that you find all the nice stuff?? I now live in a very small town & even tho we have “2” Dollar Tree Stores”, they have nothing you show except the “LA Cleaner” , mops, brooms, & few other things. No containers that I’d like nor what you show here on your channel!♥️

I am someone who loves your videos and WANTS to have the cleaning motivation and habits you have. I live in a 100+ yr old house and it never feels clean! But your attitude and humor, your enthusiasm and love lift my spirits way up - and that is treasure, too.

Hi Kathryn always love your videos. To keep food or crumbs from falling between your stove and counter top you can use an item called Kitchen Stove Counter Gap Covers. I use clear silicone ones.

I have been adding peel and stick tiles to my cabinets for decades. Works so well - very easy to clean and so durable. Once and done! I also love your idea of pulling the range out to clean but not so easy when you have a gas stove. Thanks for all your wonderful videos.

sure it is, you slide it out a little from slide to slide (like a shimmy...lol) then look to see long the flex line (gas line) is, I just push it to the side closest to the gas line so as to not pull the line although those lines are pretty sturdy... if you ever smell gas, just turn the gas valve off, its just like the water valves...

My sister is the first person I saw who used floor tiles in her kitchen cabinets, decades ago. Such a good idea. They are durable, easy to clean and come in a wide variety of patterns.

This is one of my FAVORITE videos thus far, however I love ALL your videos, LOL. The floor pops is a brilliant idea and using the caulk with it, BRILLIANT! I can't wait to use this under my kitchen sink as well as under my bathroom sinks. I have used Murphy's Oil Soap for years, and it is amazing. Your idea about using the mop such a great idea too, can't wait to try it.

Such wonderful tips, Kathryn! Thank you! I do have tiles under my kitchen sink also. They’re the best, but I never thought of caulking them. What a great idea! Will have to do that now. That mop looks amazing for cleaning the cabinets. Will have to pick up one. 💕

You advertise the O cedar mop, about five or six months ago, and we are so glad! Because we were using this heavy duty floor mop that was very heavy, especially when it got wet! We bought the more expensive one that has its own chamber for the dirty water and the clean water and it only cost us $52 from Amazon. I seen it at Walmart and they wanted $69 for it! But I’ve also seen some knock offs at Dietes and I think I’m gonna get one of those. It’s a heavy duty super duty, oh cedar but it’s not all cedar. It’s a knock off, but I’m gonna use that for the garage! Thank you so much, Catherine.

Two questions: 1. how do you decide when to use the steam cleaner and when to use a cleaning product? 2. Have you ever thought about going paperless? I’d love to see a video about that.
