Just a tip...buy a kids detangler for combing out the hair..it saves time and works...deep condition each wash day with a protein free deep conditioner...keep using olive oil in your routine after washing along with a leavein and shea butter to seal would be good....remoisturize hair with water leave in and shea butter between wash days..keep it this simple....all the best...I too have grown my 4c hair to bra strap length

@kerriewithpurpose57223 жыл бұрын
@@findingalisa2552 hey..I find myself returning to use Cantu Shea butter leavein ...you get alot for the money and it does the job.( As I am leave in or Giovanni leavein or Knot Today kinky curly leavins are not as thick as Cantu but have no protein, and aren't as expensive as camille rose naturals or the mane choice brands which are also very good and can do the trick also)..tip..just before washing out your shampoo in the shower put on normal conditioner for 5 mins (suave has lots of slip)...it will stop your hair from feeling dried out when you wash out the shampoo (sounds crazy to add conditioner while shampoo still in hair but I got this tip from a well known natural hair youtuber). Also while still in the shower apply the leavin immediately after washing out the conditioner or the deep conditioner...this does not give the hair enough time to kink or dry out..trust me.. sounds weird but works like a charm. The Cantu leave in may get foamy like a conditioner when you do this but that is okay..you are lubricating the strands before getting out the shower and this will significantly reduce tangling. This will stop your hair from thinning out. Stay away from aloe juice, silk proteins, wheat, eggs or any protein in products unless you do a controlled protein treatment yourself each month. Protein can build up and strip your hair of moisture and cause it to break ..even silk amino acids can make hair frizzy and dry eventually. If you don't like shea butter on top the leavein to seal in moisture nothing wrong with blue magic hair grease...you just need to use a sulphate shampoo on wash day to really get grease off..God bless. Just helping a sista out!!! Wouldn't wanna see that beautiful hair go to waste 😊😊😯😊

You are my new best friend. I've been struggling to find products that work and because of the amount of haor I have I am overwhelmed. When I was loos natural before it was for about a year or 2 after a big chop. So that was way easier and gave me alot of time to get to know my hair. I cant even remember what I used before...probably wouldn't matter because my hair feels soo much different. I will go to the hair store tomorrow and try the Cantu leave in. Great tips. There is soo much info out there and with my limited time I tend to just rush my wash days and not take the time to do each step. I need to find another way. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You have been a great help. I'll keep up posted on my progress!
