COMBING OUT LOCS | SOME CONS TO CONSIDER

I have only about 150 locs, but if I ever decide to change my hairstyle, my plan is to grow it out for at least 8 months and then cutting them off one by one, because for one thing I want to work with fresh loose hair and not hair with straggly brittle ends. To be honest, as far as I'm concerned my interlocked locs are impossible to comb out 'cause I ain't got time for that!!🥰🌷🌷

I heard ALL of that!! I’m right there with you. It wouldn’t be worth it for me either to try and hang on to the brittle ends either just for some length 😅😅

😂 oh no! I am far away from those thoughts 🤣🤣 I am loving my locs way too much and I’m still getting chiropractor adjustments from the last time I combed out a set of traditional locs years ago 😅😅

Great video! I combed my locs out last year 2022 kept them in about a year.. the thing is when I combed my locs out I now experience thinner hair I don’t have the thick and full coarse of hair I had before I loc’d my. Question is, will I ever retain thicker roots?

I have never combined my whole head but only a few at a time in the past. My roots have always thickened up at the roots from two being combined. The only thing I can think of is if there is too much weight on the roots from the locs themselves causing the roots to thin out. Or if your reties are being done too tightly.
