I recently completed 75 Hard, the mental toughness challenge created by Andy Friscella. For 75 days I completed the following tasks, every day, with no exceptions -
1. Taking a progress photo
2. Drinking a gallon of water
3. Following a diet
4. Completing two 45-minute workouts (one of which has to be outdoors)
5. Read 10 pages of a non-fiction self-help/educational book
For my diet, I chose a diet based on calorie count. I stayed under the calorie limit that would put me at 1 pound of weight loss each week, since weight loss was a goal of mine. I used calculator.net/calorie-calculator to figure out my calorie limit each week.
For my workouts, I did a 45-minute outdoor walk for nearly every workout and alternated between using my stepper, my walking pad, the elliptical, or the treadmill for my other workouts.
My reading list consisted of mostly books around sobriety/giving up alcohol, since I decided a month before doing this challenge to give up alcohol and it is something I am curious to learn more about as I continue my journey living alcohol free. I also read one book about how to be a success in the corporate world. The one day I had to read a different book when I was at my parents and didn't have my book I read Find your Extraordinary, which is about how to achieve success/entrepreneurship.
If you are curious about my favorite books and the equipment I frequently use and show in this video, you can find many of them on my Amazon storefront (commission eligible): www.amazon.com...
