On the 3D Dampe fix, the right way to do it would be with 2 flags Flag one: Checks if the heart piece has been dug up. Flag two: chicks if the heart piece was grabbed and unflags the first one if it isn't.

Guys, I did the math and you have 65% chances that Dampe gave you the heart before the 10th attempt. So believers should be statistically more often winning here. The heart not appering before the 25th attempt has only a 7% chance of happening And you have arroud 50% chance of it happening before or after the 7th attempt so more than 7 attempts = no luck, less than 7 attempts = good luck Hope it helped you :D

More facts : - you have 1% chance to reach 44 tries - if you reach 66 tries, your run is a one in 1000th only - if you have to guess on which try you will succed, you are more likely to be right if you say on first try than any other number. - in each run Dampe has a 50% chance to find the heart before 6.579 tries, but the average number of tries over all runs is 10. that's because you can be very unlucky and have runs with more than 20 tries, thus pulling the mean above 6.579 all the way up to 10. if you want more detail I will be pleased to answer :)

First three attemps are 90% - 80% - 70% of not obtaining plus 90% seven times of not happening, it is a total of 24.1% of not getting the piece in the first 10 attemps

@@rdavidcaro this would be true if the game actually choose one graveyard where it puts the heart, in that case, the chance of getting it would increase each times you miss it. However the game simply has a 10% chance of getting the heartpiece each time you dig regardless of how many time you already dug. Well, actually, in the game, if you try 15 times, the 15th try will be th heart piece. But since speedruners reload the scene, this counter is reset to 0 each time. So you simply have a classical geometric distribution here.
