I will say that the eyes can and DO pass through generations. They look really weird on infants and toddlers but I love that they pass down.

Mine broke just before going to ghost night, I think it was because I decided to play another household because it was Thursday so I'd had to wait 6 days for the event. I luckily only missed out on the last 3 items which you can get in other ways but it was still annoying.

On the new survy I told EA thta I do not like this event. I would like a sherlock holmes themed one bitter with outfits and all of the pipes he smokes as accessories.

Mine got stuck at the planting snap/lilies and I don't even use mods. I am not that upset, since I am not into occults or EA FOMO content, but still, for people who wanted to finish it, even 2 extra weeks wasn't enough for EA to clear up enough bugs.

I enjoyed the reapers rewards, the new bicycle is my absolute favourite! But the ending, oh my, the ending was almost as big a disappointment as My Wedding Disaster. All that build up and playing through the tasks to create something you didn't even need. The finale was 💩 EA gaslighting us again. Edited to add... I also never received a plaque from Grim for completing the bunny collection?

Enabling the "Challenge" Lot trait that they added in the update means when Sims are around your lot and get scared, they give you gifts, which are generally items that you need: skill-building books (cooking, gourmet, and fishing) plus the plants you need during grafting (I think lily as well as snapdragon, cherry and I think apple.) I think the Event Reward is the only way to get the later ingredients. The only reason I know is because it gave me pop ups when it happened and also my Sim loves animals so I gave her chickens. She managed to hatch a wonderful Golden Hen who made all of her produce Perfect and was the highlight of my play through because one of the last things my Sim did last night after I finished it was bringing elderly Cuckoo (lol random name) to the Fenchwick Fair and she won first place! But because everything was Perfect I noticed the Normal ones probably came from the frightened visitors. For the record, my Sim was also a Child of the Islands so she was living in Sulani in that lot right beside where the Sulani Events happen (except I usually had my camera at an angle where I couldn't tell but every now and then I'd pan over and a group would be there... she also had lots of neighbors dropping by.) So she regularly had frightened visitors. I mean, they might've been turning up anyway, either because the lot trait encouraged it or because she befriended them and gave some of them resident keys but I think neighbors in Sulani are just coded to be extra friendly.

LOL My sim was selling things at one of the stands so she had tons of customers showing up and they kept gifting her things for the scare.

I eventually finished after it glitches after making the ambrosia, meaning I had to do the last week over (and was very disappointed with the final week's 'rewards' as I don't have the new pack so didn't have some of the same tasks or rewards I guess). The hardest bit was having to get another angelfish (the first time my Sim had used it for something or cleaned it out of their inventory, and I didn't get one randomly added like you did, but of course my Sim had too high a fishing skill to get it so had to use a different sim to learn fishing).

I too thought that just getting the ingredients was a bit anti-climactic. Especially since the sim I played at that time didn't have the necessary skills (had just changed generations in a legacy)

I can't complete it and I'm so bummed! I've played through 3 weeks of ghost nights and still haven't had it show as "complete" :(

Which bar? I couldn’t get it to work at first and tried other bars. I think it was the Oasis Springs that checked it off. No guarantees obviously 🙄

I’m so frustrated because mine stopped working. I really hope they let us get the rewards since it’s broken. Either get rid of the timed portion and just make it a regular reward (maybe a scenario) or fix it. If I’d known I wouldn’t be able to get the rewards I wouldn’t have bought the expansion. I swear this is the most broken expansion I’ve bought.

i made mine for guidry bc my sim lived in a haunted house and had a flirtationship with him and i decided i wanted it to be end game, and guidry did not eat it just put it in his pocket! maybe i shouldve called him to the meal somehow? not sure, but i decided maybe its for the best not to break my game by having him alive again

I have a question. If you become a ghost temporarily and gain skills, do you keep those the next time you become a ghost or does it reset?

@@EnglishSimmer Oh cool. So you can turn into a temporary ghost your whole sim life, and then be prepared when you actually do die. Sweet. Do you know if there are any deaths that prevent you from dying that way again? Like overcharging as a spellcaster is that way isn't it or am I thinking of something else?

I literally sped through these in 24 hours because my sim already had super high skills AND money to keep expediting the mail. Some fun rewards like the bike and the eyes but overall very underwhelming for the amount of effort 🥴
