29:00 that's what I was talking about in my last comment, that's how you do 2 or more off-ramps make the whole road 2 lane and right before each exit, upgrade 1 segment to add a lane, that is American highways, some reason nobody use it in game. What would be cool is if there were roads you could upgrade to that actually add a lane off to the side of the road instead of the 3 lane centering to the 2 lane, looks weird. Like a pack with 2-6 lane highways that have actual slip-lane off-ramps.

Im happy to see again that biffa first use (lain math), and after that only take mods. And i don't watch videos when biffa straight away use mods and forgot about basic what is lane math. For example i doing this way >>> 1) Upgrade all highways from three on four lines in each direction. 2) put highways intersection's in the best places, for cars go in shortest way. 3) lane math. 4) pick line mod.
@shdwmage244 жыл бұрын
I love your videos. Roundabouts work great on the xbox too. A couple suggestions: 1) I've found that using the 4 lane before the intersection works better on the xbox one than the two lanes in the middle. 2) Rather than using a 6 lane road off the round about, bring the highways in and out at an angle. On the console you don't have the option to do the lane management and it solves a lot of the u-turn headaches. Plus if you angle it right the speeds are better.

To save yourself some time and effort in future city fixes where you'd like to use some of Timboh's interchanges whilst applying lane mathematics principles to them, I'd highly recommend taking some time out to load up Timboh's interchanges, then create modified versions of them with the proper lane mathematics fixes, just as a time saver for future city fixes.

I get the feeling from watching these that, a lot of the time, playing with unlimited money just causes more trouble for anyone who doesn't know exactly what they're doing. It's like they get too gung-ho with building up as fast as possible that they don't stop and plan it out better ahead of time. When you have to manage your money, you're forced to focus on smaller areas at a time which allows you more time to fix problem areas before they get out of control. When watching these videos, I can tell that most people have a general idea of how to manage traffic but they just don't take the time to make sure it's all working before moving on to their next area. I think that playing with normal money could help people get a better idea of how to manage everything - at least until they get a better grasp on road and traffic management...

Nice work once again fixing a city. I had to do a painful decision today and stop playing Cities: Skylines due to that Paradox launcher. Adding that thing took away my joy of playing the game, as it adds just unnecessary steps to start the game. The launcher itself takes more time to start than the game takes. And the claim that they will use launcher to promote new stuff for the game is just mad. Main menu already had that covered, as well as Steam did. As much as it hurts for me to do it, I won't touch to that game until they remove Paradox launcher from it.
