The realisation that he couldn’t feel the safety of the tea, the realisation that he couldn’t feel the hot burning in his mouth and flowing down his throat. Always strengthens my faith in humanity to see. Plus, you have a very soothing voice to listen to, and I love that you stay positive and don't make fun of people's cities, just acknowledge that people play in a multitude of ways and on many different skill levels and that's OK. @@brunoglopes Honestly, yes. That button is more than enough. I turned despawning off in one of my cities, and I noticed that when I had a jam, you pretty much had to turn it off to clear things up. You disable it for two seconds, and suddenly everything is clear. It's plenty of time to film a couple timelapses. Someone on Reddit mentioned a while ago that Biffa admitted to making the traffic worse before starting the video as well (Im not sure if I can find that post though. That was at least six months ago). I think overall, his main goal is to try to make things seem as dramatic as possible, even though in the end, the difference might actually be like 20-30%.

You didn't have to remove those "enter the junction" things on roundabouts that were not blocked. Your setup is for clearing them but once it's cleared having them both turned on is better ^^ (especially when the incomming traffic is heavy or irregular) since it allows more cars to enter during (delta)t time. Have you noticed that roundabouts clear up the same direction they rotate? Counter clockwise : the next incomming road to clear is the one right next to it following the roundabout. Ex : if the top road is the first to clear, then to next one will be the left one.

Roundabouts aren't all that. My cities always have 89% traffic flow; my secret is try not to build 4 way high density junctions, leave adequate space between junctions, extensive footpath networks, decent public transport and finally no traffic lights. Also try to identify and negate traffic 'bottle necking' as early as you can, provide multiple routes in and out of city sections, people always build their cities into little partitioned off enclaves with only 1 or 2 in or out and that causes massive traffic jams.

Maybe I'm late to the party but something cool I found recently. I was never able to create an elevated roundabout with the roundabout builder, it always raised the ground and I had to delete and rebuild one segment at a time. First time I realized it, I had a big roundabout but on the ground, I clicked the elevated road button on the road anarchy mod and then just upgrade the road and created and bridged road at ground level, then created a big lake beneath it. Before you activate the roundabout builder, activate elevated road and then open roundabout builder and build elevated roundabouts. Should be able to click the tunnel button and make tunnel roundabouts, just haven't tried.

I don't like the feature of ctrl+shift+click on roundabouts, because it adds lane arrows to roundabout roads. It also seems to ban all walking through it, even around it, thus forcing people to use cars more. I think that mandatory check with roundabouts should be checking walking paths. Many use highway roads on roundabouts, which don't have footpaths, thus forcing people to use cars more again. I find it very rewarding when I add walkways that people starts to use. Nice to see Biffa reminding watchers to add them. They are as important as properly designed road network.
