I Confronted These Pokémon Scammers

It's time to take down the KZbin comment scam bots! The Pokémon community has been dealing with these scammers' relentless replies to comments on videos across the board, and something has to be done about it. In this video, I reply to these scammers who are pretending to be @PokeRev, @Leonhart, and myself to find out what they do, who they are, and to waste their time.
Scammers will create KZbin accounts impersonating a channel, then reply to comments on the real channel saying those commenters won a prize and ask to reach out on a chat app like Telegram. There they will attempt to scam you for "shipping costs" of an item you will never receive.

Thanks for actually addressing this, because I feel a lot of influencers do not when it comes to scammers impersonating them. I guess their logic is ignore them and no harm done but that's definitely not the case to those who are susceptible! Also, I LOVE hunting games!! Great video. I have been scammed multiple times. They aren't fun to deal with. One word of advice is to be careful when someone says you won a giveaway without knowing. There is a good chance they are scams. Just be extra careful with fake profiles and bots it can be helpful to not interact with them at all.

One thing people can do is reply to the scam comments saying "This is a scam!" To help those that won't know better. The best thing you can do is spread awareness with things like this. If more KZbinrs, not just Pokémon channels, bring this up to people in videos, it'll help spread awareness! This video is a great contribution!

These scammers are always based in India. They have a strict script they absolutely stick with regardless of what you say or try to do to knock them off script. They typically will ask for payment via giftcard and then ask for the card number and pin. Once you start messing with them, they get very persistent and rude for wasting their time.

Such important advice I take for granted as I've always been taught never to pass on personal details unless I know the person, so huge kudos to you Pat for the work put into this video to educate as many people as possible 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 It's typical that when there's enough money in a hobby there will always be people trying to exploit that for their own gain. Highlighting this in the way you've done will go such a long way in introducing people to best practice when it comes to these things which is to IGNORE IT COMPLETELY!!! 🔥

I was so close to getting scammed by this scammer EXACTLY today on an unlistedleaf video. Thanks to my friend Zach I became sceptical and asked for proof. Without him, i would've been scammed!

I was watching raidaway and dysmo whom are both cod youtubers and and I commented on there videos and on 1 for each of them I got a comment from these scammers telling me I won so I downloaded telegram messaged the raidaway one then thaught about it and realized this is a scam and immediately uninstalled telegram glad your bringing light to these new type of scammers
