🍒 RECIPES 🍰
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
- 3/4 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/5 tsp baking soda
- 5 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/4 cup water
- cinnamon (barely mix)
bake at 350F for 10 mins, then 250F for 30 mins
Grilled Cheese (Easy No-Knead Bread)
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 pack dry instant yeast
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1.5 cup WARM water
let rise for 2 hours
bake for 40 mins at 450F
Vegan Cheese
- 1 cup soaked raw cashews
- 1/4 cup coconut yogurt
- 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 2/12 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 4 tbsp tapioca starch
- blend until smooth, cook in a pan at med-low heat until ball is formed
Butter
- garlic
-parsely
-basil
Poptarts
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/3 stick of butter
blend or use food processor
- add 1/4 cup aquafaba
for the jam:
- strawberries
- honey
cook down for 20-30 mins
BBQ Chicken Pizza
- buy pizza dough bc you're too lazy
- homemade bbq sauce
(ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, worcestershire)
- red onions
- banana peppers
- chicken

I’m not sure whether everyone partaking in this trend is aware that Nara Smith does this because she suffers from an auto-immune disease which makes eating out/ convenient foods dangerous because of the potential flare ups that she might has. By making all her food from scratch, she’s able to eliminate the potential danger that food outside has! 😊

Don't forget, Nara is part of the top 1%, she has a whole team to help her create content. If you think she goes out and buys these ingredients. sets everything up, records herself from different angles, edits anything at all, while also caring for her children, you'd be very mistaken. Her whole channel is a production, put on by a team of multiple people. She has nannies to care for her kids so she can spend all the time she wants making content. She has someone plan these meals, order/pickup the ingredients, set up the utensils. This is not as "organic" as you might think. Quite the opposite, everything is planned out, and set up for her. All she has to do is cook the food/bake. Idk about you, but if I had a whole team to help with all of that, I wouldn't be very exhausted either.

No one that wealthy currates their social media accounts/videos on their own. There is always a team of people working in the background behind them.

my mom makes food for us every night and bakes her own bread. she's been cooking from scratch for her family since she was a kid and now she enjoys sharing it with us. not everything is about class there are so many other factors such as where you grow up and what your parents teach you. cooking is a learned skill; some people sick it up for fun because they can but others grow up cooking or didnt and haven't acquired the skill set making it feel more difficult. there are also so many reasons to make your own food from scratch such as dietary restrictions, allergies or values. whole foods, food made with ingredients you can see are good for you and dont have as much of the nutritional value as store bought, large and chemical products and produce. I agree that time and resources are huge privileges but everyone chooses how to spend their free time based on their values. most people could not go to the extent that nara smith does with every one of her items. but it's not all her meals, and there are so many people that make lots of food from scratch because thats where they put their energy, that's how they grew up or thats whats important to them.
