I COOKED MY ENGINE AND STILL MADE MONEY ON THIS VAN 💰🚐

My Ford Econovan DIED when I was driving it in outback QLD.
The process of fixing it was a massive pain and cost thousands of dollars.
Even so, I still managed to make a profit on buying and selling this van.

This is the very reason why I have Top Level RAA (South Australia) Roadside Assistance Membership, a Mobile Phone, an 80 Channel UHF CB Radio and an Emergency PLB in My Car. Australia can be such a Huge, Desolate and somewhat uncomfortable place.

Yep, 100% Michael. I was really lucky that I happened to have some phone reception where I broke down because large sections of that road don’t have any coverage at all

How many Km’s did it have when you bought it?

Sorry I can’t remember, and haven’t had this van for a while now. I’m guessing around 200 or 250 knowing what sorts of vans I’ve tended to have over the last couple of years

What do you do for a job?

I’ve been scaffolding in the mines for most of the last year. About 6 months in WA, a few months in QLD and a few months in NSW 🤙🏼

In WA it was like that and I was living in my van when I wasn’t working. Over east it’s been more like 6 days per week with one day off
