The wonderful thing about this salad is that you can make it every day but change out the sauce and some of the veggies to keep it interesting. This would go well with a tahini sauce, sweet chilli, honey mustard, so many. You could keep the sauce and swap the quinoa for couscous or orzo, or mix up the salad and veggies, add courgette potato broccoli asparagus etc… amazing stuff 😋😋😋😋

Really nice! I made this last night for my mom and stepdad and they loved it. I replaced the tofu with roasted chick peas (stepdad will not eat tofu🙃) keeping the same seasoning which worked really well. This will be going into my rotation!

In recent months I've been really busy, and I noticed that I've really slacked off of eating veggies and hardly ever eat salads. Mostly because the salads I like require a lot of work. But I like this idea of meal prepping so all that work will provide a week's worth of salads instead of just one. I also don't have a great relationship with quinoa. So I'm definitely going to try this.

Hi there! Great looking salad! May I suggest that you start sprouting yourself? So easy, cheap, nutritious, and only takes a minute or two a day (really!). You can get sprouting seed mixes online, but also in any natural foods store. You will find so many ways to incorporate sprouts into your meals, and they are so good for you!

I just made this salad and OMG🤤 It was sooooo delicious!!! Im not a vegan so I swapped the tofu out and just used chicken breast. This is by far the best salad that I have ever made. You were not lying when you said that the sauce is soo good that you could drink it😂 I was fighting myself not to drink it all by itself!!! I made this salad today and it was absolutely fabulous! It looks pretty too. I followed the recipe closely except I used lettuce rather than kale and added sliced almonds on top. The dressing was bomb. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

In season, the wild puff ball mushroom is EXCELLENT substitute for tofu. I love to use it when in season. Firm like tofu and absorbs all the flavors of the salad.

I make the same peanut sauce and mix it with rice noodles for a delicious thai peanut noodle dish. I also use it to dip my rice paper rolls in.

Quinoa is bitter so you have to rinse it before cooking. Also if you wash your veggies you definitely need to rinse that Quinoa. I love the dressing and can't wait to try. I'd use organic peanut butter because PB fit is heavily sprayed with pesticides and the nuts could be GMO for mass production

I did try it out and it's great. So quick to make but yet so yummy. Perfect dish you want to prepare after a long day's work when you actually don't feel like cooking anymore, but since it takes so little time to do and it's so yummy and nutritious, you forget about your fatigue and just go for it. WOW! Thank you so much, Shakayla - my first time watching your channel and subscribed immediately. Been trying to manifest a good salad dressing, which can frankly make or break a salad. Had used a similar recipe years ago when I was a raw vegan - used almond butter in lieu of PB, but what I like about the PB is that it's a powder - just the shelf-life and ease of grabbing it - but it was a very similar recipe with the sweet, salty, and sour, nutty, and hot - I'm excited to make this salad tomorrow! I don't have tofu (just tossed a block that had expired - will use the freezer trick in the future)! But I think I have everything else - including the powdered PB! Yeah, looking forward to catching up on some of your other other videos - I've been a long-time vegan - maybe 35 yrs(?).

Lol. Girl I’m 68 and rocked through it. Started menny when I was 50, sweating like a water falls. At 68 yes chocolate if I over do it, or over do sugar here comes the heat. So don’t know if it’s because your premenny, but yes sugar may be one of the causes; don’t know I’m not a doctor. You are going to get through this it’s only a season. Bless you.

I hit weights run & do hot sculpted yoga. My diet is no meats & superfoods 7 days! I'm lean & muscular. Often, I don't add sodium/sugar to my food. All the natural flavors are already in the veggies. I use almond butter in my dressing. Powder PB? Great idea. Thank you for the recipe! Looks delicious. Can't wait to try.

I’m not a big soy fan but this salad looks delicious. I think I would replace the tofu with chopped chicken. Also a chef once told me to parboil kale for one minute and it’s better not so tuff and no massaging. It’s also good to parboil kale and then a quick spicy saute. Yummy

I have to give you congrats for whipping this baby up! Nutritional value is 100% girlie! Sadly, I’m no fan of TOFU ….even the sight made me feel unwell. I get you need to develop a taste “ for it. Super ON “ for the prep and organizing skills! So, since your skin is absolutely GLOWING , I just assume you like I’m a vegetarian ? Try Avacado toast my fave. I eat kale salads w cabbage with some no cheese ( non dairy girlie) I love big tomatoes in mine matcha almonds. Roast edamame in the oven tossed with sesame oil, garlic & onion powder, black pepper, maple syrup & soy sauce, toss edamame in mixture then roast at 350 till slightly crispy OMG, I like to sprinkle some sesame seeds whilst hot so good

Thank you for this great video. I love your bright ideas. I just purchased my first Peanut powder - by Sun Warrior it’s like PB Fit 2 organic. Just a word regarding microwave use with food. It takes the Chi or Qi = life force out of your food = denatures it - to maintain the vital life giving force it is best to avoid microwaved foods. Blessings and thank you.

I like how u added the hot water to peanut sauce (btw that sauce & all ingred sounds amazing). I like dressing to spread not too watery of course but I wud want it to cover all ingred & if it was too thick it seems like it wud be like gagging in the mouth almost.
