The 1st scratch always hurts the worst. Not a fan of sand. I have a 22 and It gets heavy if you have to pick it up often. The ghosting mode was a cool way to include footage from both cameras.

Just found your channel, Rikki..first, Thank you for all the great jams I grew up on from y’all..I’m def subscribed now and have been wanting a dirt glide but waited til they worked out the kinks. Love the content and I suggest you throw on some solos for the background music…that would be awesome 👊🏼

Great video. The Pan Am is such a great bike. Can you share that part for the crash bars that you showed at the end?
Great video!! I live in Arizona and there are many great off road trails in the mountains and of coarse the desert for motorcycles. I ride a smaller bike in the mountains Honda CBR 300. I changed the tires to off road 70/30’s. Sand is definitely your enemy riding a motorcycle on trails. I think I would only use your bike on a trip down the Baja. I want to do that trip down the Baja so bad. I drove down almost half way with my truck. Do you think you would ever try doing the Baja or just a try 200 miles down from TJ to Ensenada then over to San Felipe? It really is a beautiful ride!!

Very nice bike and I'm certainly glad that you weren't injured or anything. I think you could have gotten inside your head a bit since you were a little nervous to begin with being rusty & all. Stay safe! ~ Scott 🤘🏼💙

Hey, I dumped in a McDonald's parking lot a couple weeks ago, lol ( don't tell nobody) lol. Like someone else commented, if you get back up and your not hurt.. yer good. That ghosting on video is pretty cool. Did you do that through your cameras software or use software like Final Cut Pro to create the effect? My drops have all been in mud and now that I am living in North Texas, its only a matter of time before I dump it in sand. lol

@charlesgru89786 ай бұрын
@@ThePoisonDrummer You can only get it at a dealership & gotta provide the VIN and proof that you own the bike! 🤣 I only WISH that I was kidding! I've a friend who works at the parts counter and he was like "I'm supposed to ask for proof, but I know you own the bike, I watched you buy it" And it's like $80 for a tiny touch-up bottle! It's all about that being the ONLY bike model that uses that specific paint.

No big deal. Just a few thorns. I believe at that speed youd be better served to just sit down sometimes. I think standing is overused. But thats just an opinion. Rock on.

Maybe. Big bikes don’t respond the way dirt bikes do. It’s a different head space.

@andrewdudley39058 ай бұрын
Rikki how would you compare these adventure bikes to riding an enduro bike off road? Like the channel.
@ThePoisonDrummer8 ай бұрын
At slower speeds the ADV bikes are almost more manageable in some cases. Enduros are for sure easier off road and handle like dirt bikes more so. ADV bikes are big and do not react to small changes and require a different set of skills off road.

Sure wish I had that type of riding here in Florida. It’s nothing but sand and mud once you get out of all the traffic. Don’t fret none about that little spill and wear those scratches like a badge of honor. Any spill you walk away from is a good one. Enjoy that Pan America. I hope yours treats you better than mine did.
