Dude this is just so clean. The work you did with the blueprints plus the video to explain everything is just so nice. Much respect !

Thanks! I already have 2 more blueprint videos planned but I only want to upload if i have created something cool that I am satisfied with and not just for the sake of it.

Hey man If I had any feedback ( and I hope this is positively received ) You don't need to apologize for being yourself. I understand you are just trying to fill your viewers in with context but most people who clicked on the video typically are interested in the build ,so work around your strengths and not your weaknesses. I Believe most people will generally understand English isn't your primary language or whatever but it really isn't that important. Just Speak Naturally and Comfortable as if you were speaking to friends of yours! I Hope to see more builds and videos in the future :)

Hahaha thank you! Its just that since I graduated from school 4 months ago I didnt really use English and so especially my pronunciation skills decayed much more than what I had expected. I was just a bit shocked how bad my English has gotten and felt that mentioning these things was appropriate. But most of all it was probably an apology to my (frustrated) self, as I have higher standards for myself/know that my pronunciation was better some time ago. I hope you enjoy building with my blueprints! Cheers!

These look amazing! Already got some extensive roadways using these. I do seem to be having trouble with alignment though... None of them snap to each other when using the "blueprint" mode during placement. They all have different "floor height" so I am constantly getting 1-2.5 foundations of gap. Am I using these wrong? Even when I place them more manually in the default mode, it takes a bit fidgeting and nudging to line them up.. I see this especially on corners and ramps

I'm pretty sure I'm just not familiar with your build style. I'm sure I'll get the hang of these. For example, I just realized that some of the pieces that need to be nudged into place, you can just slam the nudge button until it hits the limit. Something that would help a lot is maybe including the spacer blocks in like a bright orange or something? so its easy to see which foundation piece to line up with. It would also be cool if the blueprints had a description. Some of the pieces you used a 2m foundation to align the parts, and others you used a 4m piece. That could be noted in the descriptions. Super cool designs! I just put in a big loop up the west side of the island, I'm looking forward to hooking in the 2F pieces!

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, as you already figured out all the blueprints are intended to be placed in the default mode and need nudging to align them. This is my first ever blueprint pack so it definetly isnt perfect. That is also the reason why I made this video, as I realised that no one will understand how to actually use the blueprints without explainaitions. The spacer blocks and descriptions are definetly things I will take into consideration, should I ever do a big project like that again. Unfortunettely I dont really have time for an complete overhaul right now as Im currently doing the, in my country mandatory, community service. I crerated the highway in beetween my graduation and the community service as I had much freetime then. But most of the pieces you can load up in the vanilla Mk. 3 BP designer so if you want to edit them or add descriptions you are free to do so. Cheers!

@@TheHighwayGuy1 Awesome! Im so glad to hear you can participate in that project. I wish my country had mandatory community service, it would shift a lot of perspectives! Is there a way to share my version of these blueprints with you? I'd like to make those adjustments and help! You have made an amazing pack, I really do like it a lot, even with the minor frustrations. I've almost completed a full highway across the continent!

@@Mr_Spooner Damn Im glad to hear that! If you want to participate I think it would be best over Discord. I would appreciat it! You can send me your name/tag via mail (thehighwayguy1.0@gmail.com) so I can add you.

Could the sections be lined up more easily if they had the same top edge? Maybe by building from the top of the blueprinter and working down? I am running along the train section at the top and it is really easy to snap together the straight sections because vertically they are the same as the end caps
@Mr_Spooner2 ай бұрын
Next time you make a set of these, please adjust the gaps. The nudging for placement is fine, but I've just discovered a gap that I missed a nudge for, and now the entire network is out of place... blueprints are supposed to snap together easily...
@TheHighwayGuy12 ай бұрын
Yes I will take that into consideration, but for some parts (the curves for example) it wouldnt be possible to place them without nudging as I am limited by the space of the MK. 3 BP Designer. I want my BPs to be customizable in vanilla. If you need help with the gap you can send me a screenshot of it (thehighwayguy1.0@gmail.com) so I can tell you how to fix/fill it.
@Macabri_2k102 ай бұрын
yes, also having to manually add the snap blocks yourself is a pain since they don't have all the same position they need to be in...
@Brochodoce13 күн бұрын
How does the 2f snap together? you say it works the same but I cant get it to work
@blanco091811 күн бұрын
For some reason sometimes it lets me nudge it all the way but most times its one nudge off and exceeds max distance to nudge any help?
