Yeah I rarely actually see somebody play tall. To me playing tall is having a handful of provinces and managing to survive until the end of the game. Don't have a magic number for the provinces, but for me it's usually 9 to 12

I'm new to Europa universalis 4, but I have this Florence campaign going where I was crushing it, but then Venice launched a coalition war against me with Austria, Aragon, and like 50 other nations. But with your advice, I was able to get some positive war score and get Venice up to a high war exhaustion and when I "surrendered" I didn't lose anything and now I'm in the best shape my country has been since the beginning of the game

Really, the only way to play wide in a way that doesn't fall behind those who play tall is to either use Mughals or some hordes, and if you could colonize and keep the lands for yourself that would be one way too.

@@Nerazmus I would disagree. Because I did a tall Germany multiple Times. I did tall German Empire, Greater German Empire (+Austria, and Bohemia) and Greatest German Empire (+Austria, Bohemia, Netherlands) with 30+ Dev in each Provinces. From Brandenburg to Saxony, Brunswick, and many opms.

Ludi- love your content- thanks for making all of these videos. 2 Ideas or things I think it'd be cool to see you look at: 1) I'm always trying to recreate the Roman Empire as fast as possible (I can't match your speed run, but still). If you were to create a custom nation, which ideas and provinces would you take to make this happen the fastest? A video on this would be awesome if you had the time. 2) I'm playing a Denmark game, and I watched your video on that too. It is possible to turn Denmark into Prussia and then Russia? I was reading the wiki, and couldn't make heads or tails of it, so your thoughts would be appreciated (or heck, again making a video to show if its possible). If you have the origins dlc it is just an idea in the admin tree of the nation designer. Costs 40 for 5% and 150 for 10% if you pick it as tradition.

Definitely 800 from the ideas he picked. His heir, monarch and consort cost about 120 total, intellect buff costs over 100 admin eff as a first idea also does. So they couldn't get along with 400 points there.

Ludi, u made a big mistake. It's better to create 40 y.o. ruler and get all 3 traits. And if u haven't enought points, then u can create an a terrible consort (u don't need it in fact). Sometimes ur ruler get terrible random traits and it's rly bad.
