I don't often comment but I do when I have something to say. I think these guys are being very responsible entrepreneurs by putting their established situations first and not diving into the unknown risking everything and potentially losing all they have over an idea. It's clear to me that these two are responsible and still passionate about their product, it's a damn good one! Shame on the sharks for cutting into them for having a safety net. I know somebody who put everything he had on the line trying to get a business going and he just lost his house and put his family life into complete termoil because of his irresponsible behaviour. Not a very smart thing to do and might I say a pretty selfish thing to do when you have a family. I can't stand behind their logic. It's easy for them to sit back now in their ivory towers with their comfort and millions while they point the finger and criticize these two for having a safety net, makes me sick. Just because it worked out for them doesn't mean it always will for everyone. A person has to eat and feed their family in the meantime, that's what matters. This is yet another classic tale of the rich being completely removed from common sense and reality. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that it worked out for them but their projects could have just as easily blown up in their faces while their families would have taken the brunt. Terrible advice on their part. I'm out.

Just my opinion like Janine & Steve I took three years no wage while starting my business, but I think the sharks are off point here, this business is not Boost Juice it far less complicated, IMO it's a novelty product that will sell well and almost autonomously in the local market *maybe even abroad. The only reason these guys would benefit going full time is if they had a slew of products lined up that could be as popular as this over the next five or ten years, this is literally the perfect side gig you could almost automate the whole process from factory to buyer. They can use clever editing to create something there that never actually happened. It's remarkable what you can create just by taking reactions that happened 20 minutes before the thing they're supposedly reacting too, and stuff like that. If they have the patents for Australia and New Zealand, Britain and the moon, they say 'What about India?' Honestly, it's like some idiot saying 'You've missed a bit!' when you're painting something. No matter what the entrepreneurs present, the Sharks just claim the opposite is better as an excuse not to invest. I mean - seriously - criticising someone for not taking enough risk! Really? When every single Shark makes every single rejection of a deal based on it being too risky? Or as we have this time 'not certain enough'? I wish the entrepreneurs had said: 'So let's see if we get this - you think we're not prepared to take a risk so you don't want to invest because it's too risky?'

What people on this show need to understand is that the sharks are there to make money off of you while you do the majority of the work. That's not necessarily wrong, but just something to understand. Their insistence that you can't keep a job and start a business is obvious bullsh*t, but it does decrease the risk for the investor. That's what it is really about, and they should be honest about that because this makes them look like creeps. Going all in on the "I built everything because I sacrificed my firstborn and you must as well" schtick is pure manipulation and self-aggrandization.
