While yes, she's more expressive. I prefer Barrett more than MK.

The playfulness kind of makes it less serious to me. I like the expressions, but it’s a bit too much to me at times. I like the preachy, anthem sound. It makes it more of a clap back to everyone who she’s singing against. MK is great though, a bit too nasally for my taste (especially for a Janis sound), but she has nice power to her voice.
