Brian Blade is awesome. He doesn't need any elevated, inverted drum riser. He just lays it down so right. Lanois directing right in their faces is just a fun thing to see, =^D He's a producer who launch his own brand of headphones, that emphasize the human element in great recordings.

Brian Blade was amazing and even cooler was when they rolled a second drum kit out and Brian and Trixie layed it down in tandem. Lanois is a incredible musician himself playing multiple instruments.
