My theory (which I am almost definitely not the first to posit) is that Sue and Tohru are actually close friends. Sue _told_ Tohru that the weird guy working at the Taqueria (Mitch) served her AN ENTIRE RAW CHICKEN BREAST in her taco, and Tohru realized that Mitch was simping too hard, resulting in her friend being hurt. I’m a Mexican from Texas and you do not put rice or beans in Tacos you put them on the side. Usually hard shells work for ground beef but nothing else.
