Ryan treated me like an object is still a top ten Kelly line 😂 Love Jim/Pam this ep, prob because it focused outside of themselves while them being together still? Dwight is terrible to watch during this period I agree, it’s just so unlike himself. I also agree this is prob Jan’s high point never to be found again lmao. But you had it right the first time they’re incompatible. Even when Jan is awful, Micheal still is awful to her she literally says they’re uncomfortable and hurt about her new boobs and he’s like yeah but /I/ love them which if he really loved her he’d let go of. So yeah fundamentally terrible for each other.

The funny thing about the Devil Wears Prada joke is, I'm not sure whoever wrote the joke saw the movie, because the twist at the end is kind of the opposite of what the Office says. The trailer makes it obvious Meryl Streep is a nightmare. 90% of the movie sticks with that. The "twist" at the end is basically that she's not so bad or at least relatable. I criticize S4 for getting less and less grounded compared to the initial brilliance of season 2, but dammit I love ridiculous "Schrute Farms". The wires joke is great. You didn't include it but the "oh yes...ever since the storm..." weird unexplained backstory is great. And Jim and Pam are at their cutest of the season. You also didn't include that big damn kiss about "Italian Food" and I won't fault you if you think it's too much, but it is nice to see them happy while also being nice to Dwight. It seems like you are feeling all the things the show wants you to feel about Dwight (and no you are not alone in that), but also "not enjoying watching" him. Who put the tragedy in your comedy huh :)
