Since that circuit board is almost 100USD, what kind of sick features does it have? Is it worth getting that if I just want to mod my Home Mini with an AUX port and nothing else? Does it fit inside the enclosure or do I need to have it hang out like on the picture?

@TierParkToni6 жыл бұрын
the voltage on Line Signals should be max 2V to prevent clipping - but he calculates wrong : 300 Ohm and 3kOhm gives an voltage divider by 11 not 10 - use a 2.7kOhm resistor can help ...
@Mueller3D6 жыл бұрын
The device that you connect it to expects the signal voltage to be within a certain range (typically about 1V peak-to-peak, like he says). If you put in too much, it will be too loud compared to other sound sources, and it may overdrive the device's amplifier and cause clipping.

I just saw a video that lets you pair 2 mini's together to make them stereo within the google home app. you can select which one is left and which one is right. I have not yet tested this out. In theory, you could use 2 google mini's to connect to 1 stereo aux out jack. They would be sharing a ground wire. I don't think that would cause any issues, but it could cause some feedback potentially. This is all in theory combining ideas from different videos. Search "Google Home Mini & Google Nest Mini Stereo Pair" for the other video talking about pairing.
