Amazing message. You deserve a medal for your integrity and what you sacrificed by making this video. You stood up, took responsibility, and sacrificed your career when the ACTUAL cowards responsible for the withdrawal never even considered it and I believe you deserve to be honored. Men of such integrity and honor are all but non existent in our world today. It disgusts me not one high-ranking officer had the integrity to honor the lives of the 13 murdered soldiers or their grieving families by resigning. It's pathetic. Thank you for your courage and selflessness. God bless you and your family and may God continue to comfort the families of the 13 who paid the ultimate price serving the United States of America. I saw this on the news when it came out, but it didn't occur to me then to actually look up the original video and comment on it. I'm late to the game, but I want you to know, as I listened to you, I remember thinking "Yes! It's about damn time someone spoke up!" Not to detract from the valid points that you make, but the greater problem is that we were there, at all, and especially after such a long time. We created a couple of generations of enemies and got very little accomplished. And as we all know, Iraq never should have happened either. The goal of terrorism was achieved, but not by those who attacked us as much as our own reactions. This is certainly a failure of the most senior leadership. We can do better. Without any sarcasm at all, Semper fi.
