Did you really just bought that to tear it apart? Honestly it would have been better if you had sent it to an automotive museum, this is a little piece of history after all.
@JP_432 жыл бұрын
He bought it to restore it... then discovered it was a pile of rust held together by poorly applied bondo. That much rust made that thing a lost cause and no museum would have bothered restoring it either. Every time they got under a panel water seeped out... meaning everything inside that car was rusting away.

Would’ve loved to see you blow up or bury this thing but oh well 🤓 my idea for that $10k pile of parts is to buy another one of these Civic hatches, make it a monster with all that stuff, track down and contact the original owner of the ricer Civic that made the kit himself and recruit him to help make another identical one (properly this time of course) so you can make the most unassuming super car killer of a Civic ever
@SteampunkDream2 жыл бұрын
To be honest I would have totally cut all the panels off and made templates for fiberglass and found a clean shell and rebuilt it from the ground up. That civic felt like it came straight out of the 90s.

its kinda rediculous they call the car/owner a ricer when he built this during a period that it was cool to do.thats like hating people for their pictures of them in bell bottoms in the 60s. infact thie period this car was made was the most fun period for car enthusiest where you can do anything you imagine without scrutiny and really set a path for others,doing headlight/tail light conversions and creating a one off car was really fun times and felt good to have somthing knowone else had .compare that to now where you cant use as much imagination and have to build a look that follows the herd of sheep,so much more imagination and creativity back then.

I've slowly come to the realization it doesn't matter what we tell you we want you to build you're not gonna build it. In the last four or five years I think I've seen you finish maybe 3 builds? the rest where all "hey guys new project on the channel we're gonna do this, and that to it it's gonna be awesome." then next video it's rolled under or on to the lifts or back in some corner and never another video about it until you realize you've got 40+ cars and it's time to sell them.... Good luck with whatever you decide to build. I just hope whatever it is you actually finish it, instead of us having to watch it set in the background of other videos collecting dust.

Another thing why would you hunt down a Type R for an awd Kswap? If the Type R isnt original you might as well use a base model shell. You want to know how I know your not into Honda's...
