Great video. I’m new to the channel, and I’m a 50 year old road runner trying to crack my first marathon. I’ve had a few attempts but got covid last year and struggled with mental health the prior year. I think 2025 is my year. I’ve definitely suffered from overtraining. Back in Sept. I was lifting and running lots and the first thing I noticed was irritability and I was unable to sleep. I backed off substantially but it took over a month to feel normal again. I’m glad it happened because I feel like I know what too much is for myself.

Great stuff! I'm taking a step back from distance to work on speed... it's so hard to fit in the necessary miles when my average pace is 12+ minutes a mile. 2025 is the year of 100... 100k, and 100 mile!!
