UNEXPECTED Lure Catches Me My First TOPWATER Bass | Virginia Smallmouth

Today, I caught my first smallmouth bass on a ned rig while float fishing in Virginia. This was an incredible experience, and I was lucky enough to catch my first topwater bass on this trip as well. At this rate, it seems I'm going to catch every species before I finally get a topwater largemouth!

I feel like freshwater is definitely better up there from what I saw, but I don’t know about saltwater!
