Perfect idea for keeping the group together that way the folks are on time and don't get lost. We used to get some when we had the trolleys but that's long gone. I'm glad that you and the family were able to be in attendance because that was one thing that usually fell by the wayside was your social life. James, you are so right, it never leaves your blood. I traveled with my wife to Boston and Plymouth this past werk. I haven’t driven that route for five or so years. Saw a lotta buses on the road and in Boston. My wife sees me looking at the buses while we walked around Boston. She says “you miss driving them, don't you?” I do. Did a lotta weddings over the years. Always seems like theres a cousin or an uncle who had a few too many on the trips back to the hotels and they gotta get on the mic and try to sing. I do a lot of wedding charters here in Australia, since I live in an area with quite a few vineyards (in the north east of the state of Victoria), which make for nice picturesque wedding venues. The one thing about weddings I dislike, is doing a wedding for a young couple, as they tend to mostly have young friends who end up drinking way too much, leaving me with a big clean up inside the bus. If you know what I mean, I need say no more about that! But my company gives us drivers the authority to deny boarding to anyone who is too intoxicated, which we rarely have to enforce, thankfully. Also, I'm like you - I plan to arrive a minimum 15 minutes before my scheduled pick up time.

My, probably unpopular, opinion: if you are dressing up this sloppily, don't wear a tie. A sloppily-worn tie looks worse than no tie at all. And you do wear it sloppily. Get some sharp polo shirts made for your (!!) company and have drivers wear them. The last time I personally wore a tie was at my mom's funeral, and the time before that was at my mom-in-law's. And lose the hat.
