Super well played mate. As a Zerg main myself can confirm that his defence of that drop was less then perfect to say the least 😅. You mentioned in your replay analysis that getting between the bases is a good option and that’s exactly what I would have suggested when you did shove in. Only piece of advice I’ll offer is trying to incorporate a macro cycle into your games. Trying to look back at your base every 30ish seconds to build depots, scvs, start upgrades, build add ons etc. incorporating this was a huge game changer for me and helped me feel more in control of my mid to late game, as I was doing all of my macro at once rather then trying to flit back and forth constantly. I’m super impressed at your willingness to look back at your base while the fighting is happening

GG Well Played . . . that Drop-Defence was a Huge Blunder from him LoL. @4:18 "Still hasnt got my build sorted...", I believe what your looking for is Optimization. U seldom notice it if opponent is being aggressive but when his being too Economic like this one, U can tell that there are some stuff that gets delayed. As long as U don't skip or delay that SCV producton (even by a bit), we can slowly figure out where that delay is. Tip: "Engibay Optimization" Upgrades has No purpose in the openner, its Not even needed during the 1st drop harass. Its only essential during that 1st-Push. So having Engibay early delays everything else, it could have been a depot to lessen the chances of SUPPLYBLOCK or that delayed Tank in the production. STANDARD TIMING FOR ENGIBAY IS AFTER 3-1-1. However, Engibay is required for MissileTorrets. So thats the ONE AND ONLY TIME you may need to get the Engibay Early, after you scouted that opponent is doing something that may require MissileTorrets of course. Such openners are Muta, Stargate & Cloak Units (Banshee/DT). Also if you think opponent is doing Proxy stuff U can blindly start an engibay & MissileTorrets.

Not a bad game indeed:). Sure at 8:43 you got lucky with him stuck, but if you havent taken the initative to drop, you wouldnt have created this opportunity for him to mess up...
