Hey brother, I've been watching you since the Honda days. You were always coming in 4th or 5th behind the much faster bikes, always consistent and always as fast as the bike could be. I always said to myself, "man this guy is insanely talented and quick, if he ever gets on a fast bike no one stands a chance." And then you got onto the Kawasaki and the rest was history. 6 World Championships. My god, man. Honestly I know how hard it can be when you want to fight for a win and you can't. Stay positive. You and the team will figure it out. Remember, you're still out there living the dream that so many of us wish we could be living. I look forward to many more battles between You, Toprak, and Bautista. In a way, it must be kind of fun to finally have a real challenge. ;) Much respect and support!

Well... on a slower bike... JR set the fastest lap time in Race 1 and second fastest lap time in Race 2 (one-tenth slower than Bautista) and placed third overall. Most of the other riders in the mix have failed to show consistency throughout the season in the past, so it's hard to know where they'll place in the c/ship come the midway point. But it is great to see some variety in the top 3. Clearly, Bautista and Ducati are on fire, so no surprises there. 05:27 500rpm more would certainly help, but I know there are strict rules around changing rev limits. I think the Ducati V4's are allowed rev to over 16k rpm! Kawasaki's are limited below 15k. And therin lies the problem - Ducati builds race bikes for the road... whereas Kawaski builds road bikes, which they race! If Kawasaki wants to take WSBK seriously, they surely need to up their game when it comes to production bikes! That's also what the market demands when it comes to superbikes - higher-priced, exotic, race winning machines!

Maybe the FIM should use BOP like the IMSA series. What RPMs are the Ducatis allowed with the smallest rider. Alvro is close to Johnny's age and yes he is a great rider but Johnny rides just as well. Besides, if Yamaha, Kawasaki, or Honda again would produce a V 4 Ducati would bitch and be allowed 1100 CC and the others mentioned limited to 10K RPM. Not hating on Ducati but they were allowed 1200s against 1000s and 999s against 750s.

They were allowed a larger engine displacement because the inline 4 cylinder 1000’s were making 30-40 more horsepower at much higher revs. Even Johnny says more revs = more power. This is the best vid edit to date. This gives us raw footage of the team and interactions between other teams and riders as well. This is why we love wsbk. Well, this is why I love wsbk. I haven't gone to see motogp in person in a long time at P.I due to preferring to go to wsbk. The paddock access and exposure to the riders in the best part. This edit showed us an uncut and unedited side to JR. To see you frustrated after race 2 was really great for the fans to see. For the most part we see the media interview which feels abit reserved etc. Anyway, great edit to the team. Good luck with Indonesia we know you will race that zx10rr to the Max!!!

Love these footages. Behind scenes are gold. It was tough weekend. Even watching it it looked like tire skidding, smoking etc, but laptimes weren't there. Even in wet laptimes weren't that much off. Like WTF, bike heatsoaking losing power or what? It is what it is. Spectacular fights, just sight unseen in years to see you fighting this hard just to stay there. You shouldn't have any regrets. Cannot wait for Mandalika, and hopefully all goes better next time around. On the side note, Toprak seemed really struggling too...

Jonathan - you're racing against TopRak and Bautista - It's always going to be difficult. I remember Bautista showing a flash of brilliance in a few of his early MotoGP outings - I knew back then he had the raw pace - it's like he's taken this long to mature his personality enough to be consistently fast. Obviously his World 250 crown and a domestic trophy further underline his credentials. The bigger picture is that if all three of you manage to give 100% then we're going to have a fantastic season of racing and WSB will be the winner. 👍

Great video, Jonathan you are the best rider in the grid, driving in the rain always brings the best riders to the front, something is up with the bike, you have to ride so much harder than the Ducati's, they seem to be effortless. Kawasaki needs to dial in these bikes to compete. I don't think Kawasaki or other brands will compete in the corners, so just find more power in the Kawi, might just be enough with your talent to overcome the Ducati
