Initially I thought Joinen was joking but let me help out 😁 Jet Black was definitely not a typo. Jet Black is a colour named after the semi precious stone called Jet. It is a dark glossy black and actually a kind of coal. It is fossilised wood. This stone was used for jewellery since the Stone Age but was especially popular in Victorian times for mourning jewellery. (Thanks for joining my tiny colour history talk 😄)
