In this van life episode I am inside the barn. I worked for 9 days straight on the camper van. 14 hour days! I got so much done in that time and it's all starting to come together ready for my epic road trip.

It's good that your morning wood was more reliable than DPD. Recent experience with them has been OK but I remember a time when a delivery status showed as failed when no one came near my house at all. Then the rearranged delivery didn't appear so I ended up asking the sender to use a different courier.

Sean on Love Sundays did what you’re about to do and decided to go with the large power station to power everything in his van.

Yeah I saw his vid. Unfortunately the power stations don’t provide enough amps on the 12v side of things to run everything I need. There’s a couple that can output 30 amps but when considering a diesel heater (plus additional bits) that’s not enough for me. And also they can’t be charged via the van itself at more than about 10amps so it’d be impossible to keep it topped up during winter without finding somewhere to physically plug it in. If I had another micro camper I’d definitely just go for a power station though

Fair play you doing everything correct and not on the cheap i see that battery is £1500..I brought mine directly from renogy in Germany its a 400ah lithium cost 700 euro..worth it as i work away all week live in my van off grid ..great video as always.

I see that the DPD provides the same level of service in different countries. I've also had problems with their delivery on more than one occasion. Their couriers just don't get to the destination. And now they will be delivering my online shop purchase again. I wonder how it will end this time.

I had to drive 45 minutes to a depot a few months back (after delivery drivers said twice that I wasn't at home, even though I was anxiously waiting by the door for them). When I got to a depot unannounced a few days later, they had the parcels right by the window, even though it was the office and not the warehouse. I didn't even know for sure if they would be there, I just found the address on Google, when I was fed up with it all, and it seemed like a solid choice out of about 5 options. All very curious, as if mine were the only packages that occupied them all week.

Apparently those fogstar batteries don't charge as quickly as other popular brands and the app is in beta ,not that great. I saw them at the overland show and personally I thought they looked great

All batteries will charge as quickly as the amount of amps you’re putting in them. It’s not the battery that determines the speed, it’s the charger. But yeah they’re definitely the best batteries I’ve come across!

Why do the solar panels appear to be different are they fed into the inverter separately?

They are different yeah. They don’t go into an inverter. But yes they go into the battery via 2 Mppt’s. You can mix different panels on a single Mppt though but depending on if you wire in series or parallel you may be running them at a lower efficiency than their max spec

I had the same with DPD from window cleaning warehouse. I spent 450£ and DPD took 5 days to deliver. I got one parcel 1 day and then another another day, and then the other 5 days later. Complete joke. This country and the businesses have gone to shit.

Forgive me for not knowing the rules but I'm sure I read somewhere that in boring Old Briton you have to have a bulkhead between the driving cab & the accommodation so swivel seats in the front are of no use!? Do you know the truth?

I’m full time on KZbin now mate. It certainly isn’t stress free though unfortunately. For example today I’ve been editing for 12 hours straight. It’s nearly 2am so I’m just finishing for the day but need to do at least another 8 hours tomorrow plus then go out to film the next one, as I have deadlines for brands etc. But it’s what I like doing so certainly can’t complain!
