The buzzing from the induction hob is completely normal. But you might find it will reduce in noise if the pan is larger and fits on top of all of the marked rings. You can also buy stainless steel flat skillet pans as a heat transfer so you use any non induction pan on top of this, so you will be able to use your beloved ridgemonkey

Your induction hob noise can come from two possible issues. 1. A smaller pan that doesn’t cover the whole hob can cause noise. A slightly larger pan fixes this. 2. If the EcoFlow uses a high frequency inverter to turn the internal battery power into mains 230v then this can be a source of noise. Your Victron MultiPlus uses a low frequency inverter, so this won’t be a problem. Thanks for taking your pidgin for a flight - THATS THE ONE reason why we watch!

Great video. The buzzing on the induction hob is normal. We have a large one in our kitchen and if the hob is on less than full we get a buzz-buzz noise as it turns on and off during cooking.

The buzzing from the induction. … I suspect might be because the power pack uses a high frequency inverter rather than a low frequency lump of iron transformer! I have both types of inverter - although to contradict myself my HF inverter handles the induction without much noise!

For the pans I suggest you get a model where the handle comes off. Major space saving in and outside the cupboard. Why do I watch you? Hi I use induction hob at home and some pans of a lesser quality can make a noise in use ..so maybe just the pan ..I've found it's better to get quality pans to use on induction as it wears cheaper ones out fast 🤓

Larger diameter pan will reduce buzzing. Cast iron works well on induction. Not sure if ridge monkey is cast iron, but if you want to test pan is compatible, if a magnet sticks to it it’s okay for induction

The noise from the induction hob is quite normal. Some make more noise than others. You might hear a rumbling, high-pitched buzzing noise, or a high-pitched beep. That's normal. That's the sound of the magnetic field between the bottom of the pan and the cooktop. The induction fields in the cooktops make the bottom of the pan vibrate. The metal components in the base of the pot consist of multiple layers and vibrate. This usually occurs when using lower-quality pots with glued bases. It differs from one pan to another and often reduces after cooking for a few minutes. The noises are quite normal.

My induction hob does exactly the same thing makes that annoying noise when cooking also never turn an induction hob direct me off the using it needs to go back on standby first on its own.than its OK to turn it off by the switch on the wall or wherever you may have it
