I very much enjoy the videos. As a kid in North Alabama we’d vacation near Ft Morgan in the late 60s and 70s. $65.00 per week for a beach front cabin. Caught whiting trout pomp’s and blues all day long. Typically using Carolina rigs. Please comment a little more about your rigging. Size of the circle hook, weight and line. Thanks

I just recently moved down here from Michigan and I subscribe to your channel. I have to say your show has me very interested in Surf fishing. Even though I have tried several time now, I have never caught anything. I live in Mary Esther, FL and would like to ask you if you wouldn't mind allowing me to join you on one of your next surf fishing outings so I can learn from you and and observe. I am Retired Army and spent most of my life over seas, now that I am retired and living in the Panhandle, I want to catch up on all the fishing I have missed. Let me know if this is something you would seriously consider. Best regards, Marvin

Your comment made me laugh!! My wife a Dr. at a VA and to be honest, at times, she's just as frustrated as the vets! In case you didn't know, the Dr's have to follow the rules or "else". And at times it's really hard cuz she has Such a big heart! She choose the VA (at a 50% reduction in pay compared to private sector) because she SO wanted to help vets!! Most of the Dr's at the VA did too. IT'S THE ADMINISTRATION!!!! THEY F-N SUCK!! My wife (the Doctor) is literally at the whim of and administrative scheduler. A BARELY high school graduate that is generally a dumb fuck to be honest. The stories I have heard from my family members (1 life time marine vet, 1 ww2 vet, and another marine vet) and them the Dr's side at BBQ's... trust me, the doctors are on your side, it's just you're both fighting the government run administration.. Thank you for you service sir. God bless.

what do you do when more than one reel takes off. 3 rods set out side by side doesn't "triple your chances". It's all relatively in the same spot. 1 rod set out isn't much different than 3

Can you tell me what type of pen rod do you use most of the time I see that you like it a lot and that you use it a lot with your penn 5000 reel but I can’t tell what kind it is and if it’s a medium or heavy. I think it’s a 10 feet it would be great if you can tell us the model and where do you think we should get it. thank you so much I really enjoy your show. I look forward over the weekends when I’m not fishing. :). Thank you from Charleston SC Keep on fishing!!

I use battle 5000s and spinfisher 5500s. Mostly on my surf setups. I really like the 11’ ninja tackle dagger rod. I have it linked in the description below. Also the Star stellar 10’ rod is a good option.
@mikestark32124 жыл бұрын

MR IZBELL.......you gotta let me take you shark fishing with me man....I almost died laughing when I seen the rig.😂😂😂 If that was from Gulf coast nation, then they don't know what they're doing....Take it from someone who specializes in it Mr Izbell, that rig will not hold up in case a 7 or 8 foot shark hits......if you'd like, I have some sharks rigs that would work perfectly for surf fishing...a 12/0 circle hook, 18 inches of number 15 double strand wire, 8 to 10 feet of 500 ib mono leader, and and a coastlock snap for the weight...if you have a Penn spinfisher vi or a slammer 3 10500, and a 12 or 13 foot x heavy rod, you'll have the fish under control, and not the other way around.😁
