This video is rad, Bro! You made me feel like I was there tryin' to keep up with you. Great job showing so many details of the food and architecture. They have so many interesting foods with fascinating procedures for making them with such intricate designs. They really know how to put on a show when they make food. It's amazing! I knew Chinese food was good, but dang! Nature there is gorgeous too. Those birds flying all around the ornate, historical temples,, and the way the trees wind their way up towards the sky. Then there's their incredibly artistic Chinese character glyphs gracing signs all over the cityscape. So many people dressed in fantastical, traditional, Chinese attire. Sly, you're right about the night vibe - the lights are uber decorative and all so unique. I can't believe you also took us in to see the terra-cotta army. That was stupendous! 🎶China ~ China ~ Calling out to a mystery Is that the way you will always be?🎶

The Forbidden City in Beijing represents the architectural style from around the year 1400 AD, while the historical buildings in Xi'an reflect a style from around 1000 BC. However, the earliest dynasties, such as the Xia and Shang Dynasties, which existed approximately 2000 years before the present, had their capitals in Henan Province, China.❤

Bell Tower and Drum Tower are two different functional buildings. According to Buddhist regulations, drums are played in a temple at night and bells are rung in the morning. So call "morning bell and evening drum". The metaphor is makeing people alert and awake. In ancient times, the bell and drum were also ordinarypeople's watch and clock.

The Bell Tower in Xi’an has nothing to do with Buddhism. The Bell Tower is for time keeping, in ancient times, it rang every two hours to let the whole city know what time it was. The Drum Tower was for the military to assemble troops. The city wall and canal outside the wall was built for defense.

There is really a lot going on here that would take much to process, if you are into history. That ancient city from the windows of the tower reminds me of the movie, 'The Great Wall' , where alien creatures invade the king's palace. The drums arrangement at the 'The Drum Tower' also reminds me of the same movie with female warriors beating them to signal the army to be ready for war. I have never seen anything about the 'The Bell Tower' represented in movies before though. I would be interested in getting some notion of the history behind it. I am really impressed and love it when you showed us the Muslim quarters. It is clear now that what we know about China beside what we read and see on the Western media are not the reality on ground. So we need to learn more about them. There is a lot of energy in this place and it is place worth visiting. The site and sheer size of the remaining of the terracotta army are something to behold. I can see why the place is filled up with visitors from different parts of China because it speaks of a great heritage and the capacity of the people to understand who they were, are and going forward. I like each standing piece of sculptural work, from the high-rank officer to the low-rank officer, the archers(the one kneeling and the one posing) and the one leading the horse. This is monumental. My takeaway from this video is that China has always been a place to reckon with and that not everything we read about or watch in the Western media are correct. It shows that I have to be patient and take the time to get to know much about these wonderful people rather than conclude so quick based on little wrong information. Thank you, sir.

Western politicians and the mainstream media have demonized China for a long time because they are afraid that people will understand China's success. The mainstream Western media portray China as a demon so that they can have every reason to impose a trade and scientific and technological blockade on China in violation of all international rules and win the support of the people of Western countries at the same time.

It was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming dynasty. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of Gautama Buddha that were brought to China from India by the seventh-century Buddhist monk, scholar, traveller, and translator Xuanzang.
