It is not entierly all that deep tbh. He criticised most players doing mistakes full on knowing he might die at anytime, he never said he was perfect and made sure to say that he's prone to mistakes on numerous ocassions. Not to mention, backseating is considerably easier to do compared to on the spot decision, you might have the theory, but under pressure it might be a little bit harder to enable all of that in concordance to actual practical skills. Basically, it doesn't really matter that he pointed out mistakes, it's good that he does, because he has a proper idea of what's going on and knowledge should be shared, he's not doing it to shame per say but moreso because they need to actually learn and be competitive. I geniuenly don't think anything that petty is keeping him up at night, soda's way more experienced and mature than he lets out to be, man's been through hundreds of communities on wow by this point in his streamer career, nothing that he did in onlyfangs contradicts what he's been always really doing at the end of the day. Plus, I think soda should be congratulated just for the idea, nobody else really rised up and proposed to do this kind of content farm guild before, he took initiative. He just didn't pay attention either way, he thought they were chill, now he can be more careful and move on.

That particular pull is very common for people to run in through the tunnel and have a peek, without knowing theres a patrol (or even forgetting there is one despite the number of times theyve run it). In a good pull there is like 2-3 mobs, decent one is 3-4 and a bad pull is what we saw here (5). 1. Open door (preferable while standing on the corner LoSing) 2. peek and wait for patrol 3. pull patrol 4. win

Was the patrol. There's a two pack patrol that patrols the hallway. It can be split pulled but the team has to stand by the wall behind the door after opening the door as to not do that and body pull too soon as there's another pack (the ones with the battle mages) that stand stationary behind them. The timing on the pull of the patrol can split those two packs as one pulls them when they're (the patrol) is directly in front of the door.

Priest is safe as shit. You CAN'T die after like 14. You put your first 4 spec points in spirit tap, then imp wand. Keep inner fire up because it synergizes with power word: shield in that inner fire causes you to take less damage, less damage = longer lasting bubble. You throw a bubble, power word: pain, mind blast and then wand. Unless you pull a massive pack, you're going to be able to throw on your next bubble before you take any significant damage, if you take any at all. It's slow leaving because you are doing single target of at most 2 levels over you. Priests are basically invincible unless you're stupid.

I was thinking that too. Shield before a greater heal or spam flash heal. Screw rage building and mana on those big pulls. A shield on him would’ve prevented him from getting enough rage for sweeping strikes which would’ve kept him in battle stance longer and no whirlwind. Obviously hindsight 20-20.

I saw the details re-cap, and apparently the sorc got two spells off on him for 1.6k damage...so I'll keep this comment short: 1. Not sharing threat. 2. Not LoSing the sorc. 3. Not being in defensive stance. 4. Vei not gauging the incoming damage properly. In older xpacs where tanks often get annihilated quickly, if you're not going to pre-cast the big heal on someone taking damage, use a flash heal. 5. Asking Vei not to shield him before pull. Ultimately I think he lives by LoSing and the rest is just extra. The nova would have actually saved him if he was moving around far as I can tell. Anyways, no one asked for my comment and no one cares about it, so that's all. :D

How exactly do you "share threat" ? It's a really good idea, but having a *_Prot Warrior_* Main since *_Vanilla_* I'm not exactly sure how you would achieve this ? It's a good idea IN THEORY, but IN PRACTICE, it's very difficult to do: This is because the 1st warrior to attack will have 100% threat: Which in THIS case, was *_Whirlwind_* (hits 4 mobs). So, the 2nd Warrior will have to do 110% threat (on one to two mobs). The only thing I can think of to interpret "sharing threat" is: (1) have the 2nd Warrior with threat on at least ONE of the Mobs ? Thereby lessening spike damage on the Tank ? (2) Preforming a "NUKE PULL" (which was not possible here): Which as a similar concept above: Whereby the DPS all NUKE one Mob (while the Tank is getting threat on the others), thereby lessening the chance for huge spike damage on the Tank ?

Damn that's rough man, but I'm going to be honest, that was 95% Soda's fault. He walked past Wake in the tunnel and pulled aggro on the pat + group, didn't LOS and stack em up (which was Wake's plan), proceeded to DPS dump WW zerk stance, and got clapped. The other 5% was a mix of no war stomp from Wake (assuming it was up), Lacari nova, and an unfortunately poorly timed heal from Vei (she couldn't have predicted that burst.)

Soda needs to use demo shout more. If he starts this engagement with an immediate demo shout and actually line's the sorcerer he probably would've lived. The Sorcerer did like 1.5k+ dmg in a global with arcane bolt and fireblast combo. These packs with battlemage and sorcerer are super dangerous, I can't believe he thought it would be ok to just stand there and whirlwind like that, he didn't even try to swap stances after whirlwind.

Mistakes were made. 1) DPS position ahead of tank looking at 5x mobs (mistake). 2) That hallway you can hear the patrol as they chatter so you know when it is safe or not (mistake) 3) You effectively body pulled and had initial focus of most if not all of the mobs on the body pull (mistake). 3) Tank tried to LOS them back around the doorway while you stood in the doorway ahead of the tank (again... mistake). 4) Mage rooted the mobs with frost nova while tank backed away, again you were closest to mobs -OFC they hit you! (mistake). What was not a mistake was being in zerk stance and doing a whirlwind (you already had aggro long before that). You were sucking up arcane missiles which was your warning. Position yourself out of LOS next time and live. Let the tank tank without you putting your nose in front of him. GG

It wasn't berserker stance that killed him, it was the lack of CC. If you get a pack with either 2 battlemages, 2 sorcerers, or a combination of the two, you need to CC one of them immediately, and nuke the other one. Soda died because the sorcerer was channeling arcane missiles at him at the same time the battlemage used blast wave. Yes, Soda took more damage because of berserker stance, but he would have died in any other stance as well, since the arcane missile still had a couple of ticks left when he died.

That was 100% a blood rage aggro. You can see the nameplates are blue initially except for the one he started attacking. the second he bloodrages, all the mobs aggro to him. I mean, they also did get nova'd, but that Mage at the back wouldn't have hit him had he not had bloodrage, would have ran right to the tank. Now, the nova DID sort of fuck Soda up as he was the only one in the proximity. But 100% the bloodrage was enough snap threat to pull that mage at the back off the tank.
